We are looking for an IT Application Business Support Manager - Oracle Finance Domain on a 12-month extendable contract role.
Role Overview:
The IT Business Support role is crucial for managing and executing strategic and tactical changes within the Finance Domain. This includes supporting, troubleshooting, enhancing, defining, and implementing solutions. The role involves gathering, analyzing, refining, validating, and documenting business requirements, facilitating testing, and applying fixes and improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Support
- Provide support for core finance applications, including Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP (Financials) and Finance Data Warehouse.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing custom reports and integrations.
- Lead user discussions and workshops to gather information for new requirements, including reports and integrations.
- Document user requirements as functional and technical specifications.
- Enhance or develop reports and integrations for finance applications.
- Define functional testing scenarios, prepare test scripts, and conduct unit and system integration testing.
- Conduct user training and manage user acceptance testing as needed.
- Prepare migration and deployment documentation and participate in CAB and release management processes.
Group Liaison
- Lead discussions with product and IT owners for group-owned applications.
- Address end-to-end questions and facilitate technical discussions with product and IT owners, as well as group application support.
- Ensure changes to finance applications align with group design principles, and coordinate with Enterprise IT for approvals.
- Participate in group-wide updates of finance applications, ensuring no loss of functionality or service degradation.
Project Management
- Contribute to project management tasks, including status reporting, risk and issue management, and compliance.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years as a hands-on techno-functional consultant with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP (Financials), and 8+ years of overall experience with Oracle ERP (Financials).
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle Fusion Finance modules, including tables, views, REST, and SOAP services.
- Understanding of accounting principles and chart of accounts.
- Experience with other enterprise applications such as Workday, Coupa, Concur, Cognos, and fee-billing tools.
- Strong technical skills in SQL, PL/SQL, BIP Reports, and integration tools like OIC.
- Experience with enterprise visualization tools such as Power BI and Fusion Analytics.
- Familiarity with other programming languages and report customization (BI Publisher, OTBI, Dashboards, SmartView).
- Experience in data migration using FBDI, HDL Loader, or ADFDI.
- Proven ability to collaborate with business, architectural, technical teams, and service partners to prioritize and drive implementation.
- Proficient in Oracle documentation standards.
