Requirements:

-Strong computer/typing skills. Proficient in MS Office Advantage

• Perform venepuncture for the collection of blood specimens for dispatch to the laboratory in accordance with the standards set
• Sort and record all blood specimens collected, and ensure that they are correctly labelled, and dispatched to the Laboratory in the correct mode

• Practise Universal Precautions throughout the procedure
• Gather feedback from Doctors, Staff and Patients on matters concerning workflow improvement
• Assist in front counter when necessary, which include preparation of the documents and reports.
• Assist in improving, identifying and implement changes in the work processes of the Phlebotomy Service
• Implement Service Audit and Quality Assurance programmes

Job Responsibilities

· Be an integral part of the team that provides friendly service to patients

· Involves using technological equipment such as ultrasound, Xray, MRI, CT, mammogram and others

· Responsible for preparing and safely positioning of patients to obtain the most accurate images

· Explain to patients regarding the imaging procedures and offer them support, reassurance during the scan

· Address to any patients' inquiries/concerns

· Ensure that all work complies with established safety rules, regulations and procedures

· Conduct regularly inspection on all diagnostic equipment to ensure they are functional and operate efficiently
