You will be working on:

• Serves as the subject matter expert (SME) on Cybersecurity matters
• Lead and influence multi-disciplinary teams in implementing and operating cyber security controls for cloud and on premise environment; micro-services, containers, applications, operating systems, databases, and networks.

Middleware Administration

• Responsible for providing technical services to support environment provisioning, software integration and projects from deployment planning, setup & testing, pre-production readiness to production cutover;

• Sound knowledge in DevOps development techniques, such as CI/CD and Agile, for both native and cloud applications

As part of the IT Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for enterprise data backup protection and to optimized end-to-end Enterprise backup operations to support the digitalisation requirements of MPA. In addition, you will:

• Ensure that IT infrastructure projects are implemented within schedule, in accordance to the requirements, quality and security standards of the Authority and Whole of Government (WOG).
• Manage the day-to-day Storage and enterprise backup administration
• Identify, explore and introduce new technologies for better scalability, resiliency and performance of the IT infrastructure, while ensuring a sustainable and lower cost of ownership of the IT infrastructure.

Your key duties and responsibilities will include:

• Perform daily monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of backup jobs on platforms (Windows, VMware, Nutanix and UNIX/Linux servers)

You will be a member of the project development team under the IT Applications Development Hub. You will be involved in driving the creation of innovative enterprise solutions as per evolving business needs for the line divisions on ServiceNow as part of the end-to-end agile development lifecycle for in-house projects starting from UI/ UX Design to Cloud Engineering & Operations, Software Development, DevSecOps, Quality Assurance and Application Security.

Key Responsibilities

1. Work with Digital Business Analysts as they engage the Product Owner and stakeholders to sense make and produce the business and functional requirements as part of requirements gathering
2. Work with UI/ UX Designer as they engage the Product Owner and stakeholders for user research to produce the User Journey Maps and high-fidelity wireframes, which feeds into development sprints
3. Create and customise Service Portals, Themes, Pages, Widgets, Menus and Search Sources on the ServiceNow Platform
4. Develop on ServiceNow using scripts, business rules, workflows, web services etc
5. Integrate ServiceNow with existing enterprise systems where required
6. Loading and maintaining data between ServiceNow and integrated systems using import sets
7. Perform Administration of ServiceNow modules and applications, which include CMDB, Accounts, Service Request/ Catalog Management, Knowledge Management, Self-Service Portal, Dashboard and Reporting etc
8. Create and run automated functional tests using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) where applicable
9. Work with DevSecOps Engineer to employ CI/CD pipelines as part of DevSecOps to continuously iterate and improve existing software based on stakeholder’s feedback, where applicable
10. Work with QA Engineer to prepare test cases as well as entry and exit criteria for SIT and UAT to ensure that user requirements are met as described per product backlog
11. Work with Application Security Engineer to perform System Security Acceptance Test (SSAT), which includes Secure Code Review (SCR), Vulnerability Assessment (VA) and Penetration Test (PT) and remediate the security findings before seeking clearance and approval from CISO and CIO respectively
12. Maintain and update library of reusable APIs, components and modules
13. Develop technical documentation to guide future software development projects

Requirements

1. At least 6 years of hands-on experience on ServiceNow (Service Portal and ITSM) is required
2. Solid grasp of API, JSON, MID Servers and associated technologies that can integrate with ServiceNow
3. Highly proficient in programming languages such as HTML/CSS, Javascript, Java, AngularJS, Bootstrap or other relevant programming languages
4. Participated in at least one full software or product development cycle, preferably using Agile Methodology

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as an End User Computing (EUC) and Information Technology (IT) Service Management Engineer. This role will involve assisting the Head of EUC on all IT EUC activities and facilities, to ensure users can effectively and productively use established and / or new innovative collaboration technologies, maintain good user experience, including AI/ML, office automation tools, desktop, and mobility technologies.

The ideal officer will have practical knowledge and experience of EUC, working experience in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes implementation, proficiency in ServiceNow workflows and dashboards, and preferably experience with identity management integration. You will assist the Head of EUC to manage vendors, optimize processes and target high impact / severity issues for resolution and follow ups. •                 IT Service Desk Management: Manage the IT service desk team, ensuring efficient and effective handling of user inquiries, incident resolution, and service request fulfilment, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

•                 IT Service Management (ITSM): Assist in the adoption and adherence to ITIL/ITSM best practices and standards, identifying opportunities for simplifying and optimizing processes and driving implementations to streamline processes and improve efficiency and visibility.

•                 Assist in the drive for adoption of innovative AI/ML and automation solutions to improve work processes and productivity of the team and colleagues in the organisation.

•                 Ensure incidents and requests are met and delivered within SLAs

[What we are looking for]

• Work with Agency IT on the IT onboarding and enablement of Agencies’ endpoint to the central architecture in a phased approach, ensuring a smooth transition for each agency.
• Work closely with Agency IT to whitelist network access for applications, including network configuration changes, connectivity testing, troubleshooting, and integration with SSO, to ensure seamless integration to the central architecture.
• Work with Agency IT on the device provisioning process using Windows Autopilot and coordinate the central provisioning of laptops, if applicable.
• Work with Agency IT to troubleshoot app packaging issues and ensure the compatibility and functionality of the applications on the new endpoint solution.
