We are looking for an Application Specialist with patient or customer facing experience in a hospital setting to service existing business and proactively seek new opportunities to increase sales performance of assigned customer accounts.

Duties and responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive training to healthcare professionals on the proper use of our products.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features, benefits, and clinical applications.
• Collaborate with sales teams to ensure effective communication of product knowledge.
• Service existing accounts and actively seek out new business opportunities to ensure business growth.
• Gather market intelligence and updates on emerging healthcare technologies.
• Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations.
• Understand customer business and requirements thoroughly and negotiate agreed terms to close sales.
• Abide by Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and Good Distribution Practice Medical Device Singapore (GDPMDS) requirements.
• Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure safe product delivery.
• Provide updates on safe practices, clinical research, and data related to the product or service portfolio (applicable to nursing professionals only).

Must Have Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Nursing or Biomedical Sciences
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nurse in the ICU/CCU/Emergency Unit
• Experience in the management of Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy
• Stakeholder management experience involving medical practitioners of a hospital

Desirable Requirements (not mandatory)

• Experience in management of hemodialysis
• Experience in education and training with healthcare professionals
• Good communication & interpersonal skills

Duties and responsibilities

• Drive growth of key products according to sales strategy set by management
• Manage and grow relationships with existing and potential customers to identify new business opportunities and customer needs
• Advise customers on forthcoming product developments and suggest solutions based on their needs
• Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling and networking
• Gather market, customer & competitor insights to understand industry trends and future buying behavior to feed back to company
• Participate on behalf of the company in trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
• Gain a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements to effectively negotiate agreement terms, price variations and structure, delivery methods and specifications to close sales
• Make accurate, cost calculations, and provide customers with quotations
• Timely submission of sales and order information to sales office for processing
• Liaise with suppliers to check on the progress of orders
• Collate complaint samples, forms and related information, and promptly provide investigation result to customer
• Prompt forwarding of product complaints to local responsible person
• Review own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
• Understand and abide by requirements of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) & Good Distribution Practice Medical Device Singapore (GDPMDS)
• Understand and act according to company SOPs

Must Have Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Nursing, Pharmacy or Biomedical Sciences
• Possess sales or patient/customer facing experience
• Experience in dealing with public or private hospitals or have worked in a public or private hospital in the area of General Surgery or Clinical Nutrition or drugs/ ICU/ Emergency Department/ OT
• Proficiency in using MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint is a must

• Experience working as a Nurse or Inpatient Pharmacist
• Have experience and network with healthcare professionals
