YOUR ROLE

The incumbent will be part of a larger team within the Solution and Automation department in providing robotics and automation solutions to support the achievement of operation and business objectives to drive long term sustainable business growth.

WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO DO

Robotics & Automation Solutions:

• Support the development of new customers, either with existing client contracts or by supporting the sales team for RFQ, site visits and presentation.
• Initiate and lead projects, from scoping to implementation phase with a focus on Robotics & Automation.
• Assess Robotics & Automation opportunities across the business and provide cost-benefit analysis for investments required
• Level 1 support for implemented robotics and automation systems by providing expertise and initial troubleshooting of systems for operation team.
• Perform technologies watch and scout technologies that have high potential to solve operation problem statements that are not readily off-the-shelves
• Set up and support Project Management good practices and methodologies across the department
• Liaise with cross functions for project collaborations and to create internal and external communication contents.
• Proactively support the team members in their day-to-day work by providing expertise and insight.

Supporting Intracompany & Outreach Initiatives

• Assist local and regional entities in scoping, development and potential implementation of robotics and automation initiatives.
• Liaise with local institutions of higher learning to foster relationships, joint-collaboration and improve visibility of the company with regards to robotics and automation.
• Assist B’Lab in providing tours to customers, educational institutions, and other visitors

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Degree in Computer Science / Engineering / Supply Chain or related field is mandatory.
• Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills are required to support working in project environments
• Requires strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability in drafting proposal & businesses cases using ROI or similar metrics
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities
• Experience / knowledge of supply chain, transportation or logistics domains is highly desirable
• Experience / knowledge of Robotics and Automation, IoT solutions are desirable
• Passion for technology / tech - savvy

A solution orientated Procurement Executive who can formulate and drive a consistent approach towards all sourcing, negotiation, purchasing and tendering activities, to ensure value for money is maximized and cost savings generated. • To elaborate the Master Production Schedule for our VAS Labelling Operation based on available capacity, customer deadlines and orders readiness.
• To support day-to-day planning activities (materials & resources) to ensure on time in full delivery (OTIF) of labelling workshop.

Reporting to the BI Solutions Support Team Lead, this role will support internal stakeholders in Asia Pacific with all performance issues relating to back office BI applications, ensuring smooth operations while looking into potential process improvements.

About the role

The Senior Payroll Executive is responsible for full spectrum of payroll function including processing of salaries/ wages, pay adjustment, CPF submission, annual tax filing as well as regular headcount & reporting related to payroll, ensuring a high level of data accuracy and compliance. This is a one-year contract position.

What you will be doing

• Manage mid to complex monthly payroll processing across different shift patterns including overtime pay, festive advance pay, ad-hoc payroll and allowances.
• Ensure timely submission of tax clearance for non-local leavers.
• Prepare various quarterly accrual and provision reports for Finance reporting.
• Assist in preparation for journal posting to Finance system.
• Assist to prepare pre-payroll activities (e.g month end data for payroll checking, leave and attendance checking).
• Manage stakeholders enquiries relating to payroll costs, reports and grants computation.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as required.
