Responsible in controlling the day-to-day operations of the Offshore Support Vessels (OSV) managed by the respective business unit and 3rd Party's OSV. To ensure the smooth and effective safe operations of the Company’s vessels, ensuring that all safety and regulatory obligations are fully complied the course of delivering the most efficient and cost effective solutions to our clients.

• Responsible for navigation standards on board
• Ensure that vessels meet all obligations under the charter parties' agreements in a safe and efficient manner
• Monitor vessels' planned maintenance system
• Ensure that vessels comply with statutory and class requirements, that vessels' statutory and class certificates
• Approval of all vessel's stores, spares, and consumables
• Approval of agent and agency appointment
• Manage and control overseas entities on operational matters
• Participate in accident/incident investigation and team accident/incident review
• Maintain and implement Company's EnHSEMS and charterers' requirements
• Monitor and control the allocated budget for the fleet

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / ACCREDITIONS:

• Degree in Marine/offshore field is preferred
• Master Class 1 Certificate of Competency

Job description

Responsible for maintaining full sets of accounts including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, fixed assets accounting and billing.

The candidate is also responsible for timely preparation of monthly management report, tax computation and timely filing of ECI, GST and Corporate tax. Support and coordinate year-end audit and preparation of annual accounts in compliance with SFRS.

JOB SUMMARY:

• Maintain full set of accounts including GL, AP, AR, FA and intercompany transactions and ensure compliance with SFRS and Group Accounting policies. Monthly preparation of individual company reporting pack including intercompany schedule and performance report.
• Liaise with Associate partner finance and operation team to ensure timely, complete and accurate recording of transaction
• Timely generation of monthly reporting pack for Management and associates partner.
• Prompt and accurate monthly Billing to customers and generation of SOA
• Follow up with associates/customers on collections.
• Prepare tax computation for Singapore companies.
• Liaise with Singapore and overseas tax agent to ensure proper filing of service Tax, income tax, WHT tax, GST and corporate tax.
• Coordinate the year-end audit and prepare Financial Statements and XBRL for the entities.
• Assist in the preparation of Group consolidation and Group schedules
• Perform other duties as and when assignedmentmeet deadlines.

QUALIFICATION & COMPETENCY :

• Diploma in Finance and Accounting, Accountancy ACCA or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience
• Well versed in accounting standard and statutory requirement
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (including MS Excel)
• Strong analytical and problem solving skill, with a keen eye for details

Oversee the Purchasing Section and ensure it functions in the most efficient manner. Responsible for the procurement, sourcing and negotiation of the best prices and quality of stores & spares for the Company’s designated fleet of vessels.

Job Description

• Handle purchases, and monitor purchasing support to vessel operations that require purchasing stores, spares, provisions, and project-specific items. Ensure purchases are compliance with specifications requirement, timely procurement and value moneyand compliance with procedures
• Assess new suppliers, evaluate new suppliers, and monitor and re-evaluate approved suppliers' performance.
• Review and recommend purchasing practices for continual improvement of purchasing performance.
• Prepare to budget for purchasing to ensure and maintain department expenses are within budget
• Review and draft purchasing procedure.
• Conduct annual evaluation audit/assessment of the vendor/supplier as per schedule

Competency & Qualification

• A degree / diploma in purchasing and logistics management is preferred.
• A minimum experience of 5 years as a purchasing manager in a similar industry

• Day-to-Day technical management of assigned vessels and engine crew, in compliance with Company and Authorities' rules and regulations, for best performance
• Preparation and supervision of vessels repair, maintenance and dry-docking
• Planning and control of vessels’ operating budget and spares inventory
• Effective cost management for maintenance expenses
• Ensuring that up time is keep at the most optimal level for all vessels
• Review and analyse technical reports for managing breakdown and preventive maintenance
• Liaise with charterer, class and clients on technical related matters.
• Attend and take delivery of the new build vessels. Review and verify engineering design/drawing, technical specification and documentation are met. Commissioning vessel’s equipment and attend the sea trials.
• Review vessel’s LO & FO consumption.
• Organize and attend to vessels annual, DP and FMEA trials.
• Any other tasks assigned by Technical Manager or Management.

• Requirements:
• Posses Polytechnic/Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Possess relevant sea-going work experience as Chief Engineer/Marine Engineer with minimum class 2 certification or equivalent with in experience in AHTS, Offshore Supply/Offshore tug vessels. Those with DP vessel experience will be highly advantageous.
• At least 2 years shore based experience
• Possess good organisational and communication skills and hands-on.
• Independent and resourceful. Able to work under pressure to meet deadline.
• Analytical and highly proactive in technical trouble shooting and problem solving.
• Able to conduct effective stand-up training for vessel crews.
• Ability to travel within short notice as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day to day support for queries related to ERP & Vessel Management System.
• Project manage software related project (including ERP & Vessel Management system) / modification implementation, working as part of a team.
• Monitor and control the project’s/modification’s progress to ensure the completion of the project/modification according to schedule and after the Go-Live stage.
• Administer the ERP & Vessel Management system post implementation and provide support to all departments to resolve ERP & Vessel Management system related issues.
• Able to provide guidance / training to users with any concerns related to all the above points.
• Keep abreast of all updates to the ERP & Vessel Management system and disseminate relevant information to users of the system.
• Provide necessary assistance to application operations and project implementations.
• Ensure required documentation is maintained and completed.
• Familiar with Cloud based IT system will be an advantage.
