What you’ll do as a Solutions Engineer

You are the technical lynchpin through the entire sales cycle - pre and post sales. You will work closely with our mid-market prospects and customers to educate, empower, and ensure their success on the Cloudflare platform. Your technical expertise in Cloudflare’s global distributed network and technology will allow you to find best-fit solutions for prospects, to train and onboard new customers via video-conference or in person, through documentation, and to support the long-term success of the customer. As a subject matter expert on web/mobile security and performance, you are a trusted source for developing new firewall rules from log files, crafting performance caching and delivery strategies, and creating or repurposing internal tools and scripts for customers.

As a Solutions Engineer, you are the technical customer advocate within Cloudflare. To aid your customers, you will work closely with every team at Cloudflare, from Sales and Product, through to Engineering and Customer Support. Responsibilities

• As critical members of Cloudflare’s sales team, Solutions Engineers drive technical discussions and implementations to help generate new business, expand existing business, and keep our customers happy.
• In business generation and expansion, you’ll be tasked with qualification of prospect and customer use cases, technical requirements discovery, leading demonstrations, solution identification and design, and collaborative work on proofs-of-concept (PoCs).

Requirements

About The Role

We are searching for a Director, Partner Sales to lead our ASEAN and Greater China partner account team. The role will be based out of Singapore, reporting to the Vice President of Partner Sales, Asia Pacific. English and Mandarin speaking is essential to this role. We are looking for a Partner Director to lead a team of Inside Channel Account Managers (ICAMs) for APJC. This role will be based out of Singapore and will report to the Vice President of Partner Sales, APJC.

In this role, your first responsibility will be to attract talent and hire your inside partner sales team based out of APJC. The Channel Account Manager is required to work closely with Account Executives, Partner Solution Engineers, Customer Success Managers, Sales Operations and Partner Marketing to support our customer adoption of Cloudflare products and services and to ensure that Cloudflare Partners are properly enabled, managed and to ensure they are excited to sell Cloudflare products/services.

The ideal candidate will have existing channel partner management experience and a network of potential partner contacts – we are referring to decision makers within partner organisations that can make things happen. Candidates who have been in product management, partner program or product marketing roles and/or have a sales background will be strongly regarded.

Key performance indicators including achieving or exceeding partner sales goals through channel partners assigned to your sales segment territory tied to Account Executives within the segment.

Travel will be required within ASEAN according to partner demand to support partner development, customer meetings and pipeline generation. This will be according to Government allowed travel due to the pandemic.

Responsibilities

• Partner Relationship Management: Develop strong relationships with partner sales team(s) as well as Key Decision Makers and Influencers
• Partner Recruitment: Identify, recruit, enable and manage net new partners
• Enabling distribution partners to be competent in Cloudflare to build sales and product competency through to tier 2 resellers
• Strengthening the relationship with distribution partners across ASEAN including operational excellence such as SLAs, Enablement, Sales engagement and Cadence and forecasting

Responsibilities

• Lead sales enablement for the APJC GEO, from strategy through execution, that aligns to Cloudflare's APJC GEO strategy
• Lead a small but growing team to create and deliver new hire bootcamps, on-the-job training, value selling workshops, solution and product training, and other impactful training to ensure the sales teams have the required skills and knowledge to drive Cloudflare business
• Act as a trusted advisor to APJC sales leadership, translating APJC requirements into an enablement strategy
• Deliver prioritized trainings, including sales methodology and sales process training, and act as a coach to front line sales managers
• Utilize a variety of training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness or the enablement programs
• Own, manage, measure and report on all associated sales metrics and KPIs; provide ongoing metrics reviews in QBRs and other business review forums.
• Work closely with sales, product marketing, sales operations, GEO counterparts and other cross-functional stakeholders to drive globally consistent programs.
• Act as a performance consultant to drive key sales metrics: pipeline, deal size, deal velocity, win-rate, etc

Responsibilities:

About the Role

The Deal Desk Manager is a key member of the Global Monetization and Deal Desk Team, supporting the business across Asia Pacific, Japan & China (APJC). This role serves as a trusted advisor to our finance organization, the Vice President of Asia Pacific, Japan & China (APJC), and Vice President of Customer Success. Your goal is to maximize growth and minimize risk for our Enterprise business. You will be providing leadership support to the global team, including the following responsibilities:

• Evangelizing the global pricing and business practices of Cloudflares’ Enterprise offerings
• Supporting the APJC sales team in structuring, reviewing, and approving strategic deals, including bid management across the Quote to Cash process
• Driving value pricing into the deals and our sales processes

What you'll do

• Work with the global team to manage the international pricing and approval matrix, deal exception approval process, and large deal tracking
• Partner with other internal teams to help build, streamline, and automate the Deal Desk processes. Provide input to other support functions to drive operational efficiencies
• Analyze deals to understand current sales motion, identify revenue opportunities, and support our executive decision making
• Partner with global pricing strategy team to develop and refine pricing & packaging strategies as well as maintain pricing tools (e.g., pricing calculator, discounting guidance, TCO calculators, ROI simulations, Salesforce integrations/rules)
• Measure and track company and pricing KPIs to enable continuous improvements
• Work closely with sales enablement team to train & equip sales team in the deal approval process, including pricing, deal desk approvals, and cross functional requirements

About the Role

Location: Singapore

Description

Security Operations Center Engineers provide premium-level support for Cloudflare’s security products and features. Our largest and most technically sophisticated customers will contact Support for assistance and intelligence in dealing with threats or attacks on their infrastructure at OSI Layers 3, 4, and 7. This will span the range of Cloudflare security products from Magic Transit Infrastructure Protection, DDoS mitigation and Network Firewall, to using the Web Application firewall (WAF), Spectrum, Bot Management and Rate Limiting to help customers.

Security Operations Center Engineers analyze threats, make detailed and informed suggestions for mitigation and may need to implement mitigation strategies directly on behalf of the customer. The team also provides attack reporting beyond Cloudflare’s self-service reports.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and investigate the alerts to identify attacks
• Work with Engineering and Operations teams to mitigate attacks, suggest steps to mitigate, and apply the appropriate mitigation, when applicable
• Work with Engineering and Product teams to improve the products and tools
• Communicate with customers via chat, email, and phone
• Review the latest alerts to determine relevancy and urgency. Create new tracking tickets for alerts that signal an incident and require review or escalation
• Configure / Manager security monitoring rules and contribute to tool improvements
• Compare traffic signatures and attributes including IP addresses, cookie variations, HTTP headers, and JavaScript footprints to determine what is good traffic and what is malicious
• DDoS mitigation for OSI layers 3,4, & 7: filter malicious traffic using Cloudflare tools like Magic Transit, Network Firewall, WAF, IP reputation lists, packet inspection, blacklisting, whitelisting, and/or rate limiting.
