Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain good, professional working relationships and effective communications with existing, and new customers and all internal departments, affiliate offices, and partners.
- Support and handle all sales and other enquiries from local customers, overseas offices/agents/customers and handle RFQs.
- Provide quotation for Air, Sea (for both export/import) and Land transportation freight enquiries.
- Ensure all requests received for cost quotations, are responded to within the shortest possible time frame/deadline.
- Build and maintain good rapport with customers to fulfil their requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service support and attend/address customers’ complaints.
- Generating sales/customers report.
- Maintain good relationships with carrier/service provider to obtain more competitive cost.
- Co-ordinate with vendors and customers for bookings via faxes and emails and seek approval of shipment.
- Work closely and coordinate with operation to meet customers service expectation and provide supports whenever is required.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Joint visits with HOD/Sales to customer/vendor to build rapport, strengthen business relationship, review process and seek business opportunities.
- Support HOD in training and guiding new staff.
- Support and develop business.
- Monitor competitors, market conditions, and product development.
- Plan, design and propose Better Freight Solution.
