Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute long-term strategies to achieve regional business objectives aligned with global goals.

Business Operations & Performance Management

• Ensure effective management of day-to-day business operations across APAC markets.

Sales, Marketing, and Market Expansion

• Lead the development of market penetration strategies for APAC markets, including emerging regions.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and government agencies.
• Develop tailored marketing and sales strategies to align with local market dynamics.

Group Functions and Governance

• Collaborate with HQ and regional teams to ensure seamless integration of group-level functions such as finance, HR, legal, and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to local and international laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Drive corporate governance, risk management, and sustainability initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

• Act as the primary liaison between regional stakeholders and the corporate HQ in China.
• Build and nurture relationships with Chinese-speaking stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulators.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, forums, and other public engagements.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• 15+ years of professional experience, including senior management roles in renewable energy, ideally with a focus on wind energy.
• Demonstrated success in overseeing multi-country operations and managing cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record in P&L management, sales leadership, and operational efficiency.

Skills

• Exceptional leadership and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of APAC market dynamics in renewable energy.
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• High proficiency in financial management and performance optimization.

Languages

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is mandatory.
• Proficiency in other Chinese dialects (e.g., Cantonese, Hokkien) is a strong advantage to liaise with Chinese-speaking stakeholders effectively.

Travel

• Willingness to travel extensively across the APAC region as required.

• Provide customer support in-field and in-house - Hands on is a must !!
• Assist in product design from inception to commissioning.
• Supervise quality control plans and workshop maintenance.
• Liaise with customers, analyze non-conformity reports, and propose solutions.
• Conduct Corrective Actions (CA) and Preventive Actions (PA) to enhance service quality and prevent recurrence of issues.
• Project Mangement & Coordination, liase between China HQ, Client and SG APAC office.
• Travel within Asia Pacific, India Middle- Eastern countries to support sales, and improve department processes.
• Response of sales enquiries & RFQ, provide workable solutions to advise client.
• Improvement planning & solutions proposals to management ( SG, HQ & Job site )
• Response to job site report writting & client enquiries.
• Prepqare BOM ( Bills of Material ) & sourcing for materials with most competitive price.
• Ad- Hoc duties as requested

Job Requirement:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering,
• Minimum 1-3 year of experience in field service, automations or wind energy industry.
• Able to commit standby and travel if required.
• Able to commit frequent travel 75% & commit stanby duty 24/7
• Must be comfortable to WORK IN HEIGHT : 150-180m
• Must able to travel to diffrent countries to attend field service in short notice period !!
• Trilingual & Multilingual is highly advantageous !!
