LPE Singapore is an international primary school accredited by the French Ministry of national Education and offering a plurilingual educational approach in accordance with the French national curriculum. The school currently counts around 120 students from N1 to G3, and is continuing its development with the opening of the G4 and G5 levels in September 2024.

Pedagogical:
Implementation of the French education system with the particularity of bilingualism, in collaboration with the pedagogical management:
Programmes for preschool and elementary school:
- Guarantee the teaching of the different learning subjects and their content;
- Follow up (coherence and liaison between classes and the different ‘cycles’ in the French education system);
- Coordinate teaching and learning to enable the acquisition of the skills required by the French curriculum;
- Organise and document the specific measures taken to support children, eg school monitoring of pupils, help for pupils in difficulty, etc.;
- Organise team meetings to monitor schooling and draft the various support plans (PAI, PAP, etc.);
- Promote the success of all students by organising special aid and support systems (eg PPRE).
Organisation of schooling:
- Ensure the harmonious allocation of classes and teaching resources in collaboration with the pedagogical team (class structure);
- Ensure the good distribution of students to allow everyone to find their place in the school and that everyone has access to the same opportunities to succeed (allocation of students to the different classes discussed together with the teaching team).
School council, teacher council, cycle council and team meetings:
- Participate in the organisation of the school council;
- Organise and monitor the work of the council of teachers in collaboration with the pedagogical management and write reports;
- Ensure the holding and follow-up of cycle councils in collaboration with the pedagogical management and write reports;
- Ensure the consistency of the actions implemented at the school in collaboration with the pedagogical management;
- Ensure pedagogical management of the teaching team;
- Provide help, advice, support, training to work colleagues in collaboration with the educational management and write reports.
School project:
- Participate in the write-up of the school project and its updating in collaboration with the pedagogical management;
- Ensure its implementation and compliance of actions with the project;
- Ensure that the school project is designed around the students to allow better integration into the school and greater academic success.
Evaluation:
- Hold session to discuss the evaluation of the pupils with the teaching team and the implementation of remediation and communication with the teaching management (for example, review, assess and adapt the current organisation, if necessary);
- Support the pedagogical reflection of the team on the results of the various evaluations. Establish concrete action sheets for this purpose;
- Provide families with information both on the monitoring and evaluation of the child and on the implementation of the various remedial processes when applicable;
- Be proactive and communicate on the various proposals both with the educational management and with the families.
Security:
- Guarantee security in all areas (surveillance, outings, premises, classes);
- Write and implement procedures (eg PPMS, evacuation plan, pollution, internal regulations, etc.);
- Set up procedures in the event of an incident/accident and create the necessary documents for this purpose (accident report and other).
Hygiene, prevention and health education:
- Check vaccinations during the registration process;
- Ensure general and individual hygiene conditions;
- Promote a health education policy (hygiene, sleep, food).
Communication:
Participate in the reflection and development of communication intended for families and prospects (eg brochures, flyers, posters at our external partners) in collaboration with the communication manager.
Work closely with the communication manager to highlight the educational actions and the work carried out by teachers and their students.
Listen to the families and the school staff to establish a bond of trust and collaborative work.
Administrative:
- Participate in weekly admin meetings;
- Supervise the organisation of ECAs together with the administrative team (recruitment, budget, schedule, replacement, payment, contracts, ECA party);
- Supervise and plan the organisation of holiday camps together with the administrative team;
- Create and implement tools for the practical organisation of the staff’s work (schedules, etc.);
- Ensure the good display of regulations;
- Participate in the coordination of activities in the school in and out of school time;
- Participate in the organisation of school outings with the administrative team.
