Our client is a GLP-compliant and AAALAC accredited, preclinical CRO based in Singapore. They offer a range of preclinical services, from GLP toxicology safety assessments, aerosol generation and delivery to research support services to help achieve research goals. We are currently looking for a Research Associate – In Vivo Operations to support the operations.

Responsibilities:

• Full-time involvement in the practical conduct of studies
• To perform daily work activities with animal housing/animal treatment as planned
• To check plausibility and quality of generated raw data
• To perform animal treatment activities and cross-functional activities for studies
• To perform endpoint measurements in study, such as urine collection, blood collection & injections
• May take up additional tasks in other areas e.g. Taskforce, validation and committees

Requirements:

• Possess 1-2 years of similar experience
• Possess good knowledge of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) understanding of Principles of Good Lab Practices (GLP), and the American Association for Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care (AAALAC) principles.
• Responsible Care and Use of Laboratory Animals Course (RCULAC) certificate
• Analytical, methodical and quality conscious.
• Preferably possess degree/ diploma in biological sciences from recognized institution or equivalent ITE qualification with 1 - 2 years of similar experience.

Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Research & Development: Conduct research on state-of-the-art techniques in AI, machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision for creating realistic human avatars.
• Avatar Creation: Develop novel algorithms and models for the generation and animation of human-like avatars, including body movements, facial expressions, and natural language interactions.
• Natural Interaction Models: Design and implement models that enable avatars to engage in natural, real-time conversations using voice, gesture recognition, and emotion detection.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and product managers, to integrate AI-driven avatars into consumer-facing applications and platforms.
• Data Analysis & Experimentation: Analyze large datasets (e.g., 3D scans, video data) and develop training pipelines for enhancing avatar realism and interaction capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

• PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, or a related field.
• Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision.
• Experience with 3D modeling, animation, and facial recognition technologies.
• Experience working with GANs (Generative Adversarial Networks), neural rendering, and/or human pose estimation.
• Proven track record of publishing research papers in respected AI or related conferences/journals.
