POSITION

You are responsible for the development and performance of all commercial activities. Market analysis and follow-up market tendencies. Search, contact and visit prospects. You take the lead in new sales development and account management of the assigned corporate customers. The Job

• Coordination with clients, shippers, truckers, shipping lines/co-loaders, local/overseas agents and overseas offices on shipments.
• Provide support to the Commercial and Operations Team with involvement in full spectrum of shipping process, namely arranging for pickup, booking, document preparation (bill of lading, invoicing, certificate of origin, export permit declaration and/or AMS/IFS filing, if applicable) and customs formalities.
• Monitor, guide and follow up with the client on their shipments, providing efficient and timely response.
• Managing and resolving client(s) complaints.
• Establish and grow relationship with vendors, shippers, customers, carriers and overseas offices.
• Monitor internal operation system and ensure correct data entry.
• Ensure prompt closure of job files in alignment with month-end account closures.

The Person

• 1 – 3 years’ experience in air and ocean freight (FCL/LCL) especially handling the whole operation from booking, documentation and billing for import/export.
• Good knowledge of import, export and general logistics industry; and market knowledge.
• Knowledge of iso tanks, flexi tanks industry will be an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office software, especially Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
• Good team player with the ability to work with colleagues and people of all levels and from other cultures/nationalities.
• Ability of communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken.
• Able to work independently and be able to meet deadlines.
