About the role

We are looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Analyst to join the global investment team based in Singapore. This role will focus on the Southeast Asian market and enjoys a diverse mixture of responsibilities with a high level of interaction with portfolio managers, investment teams, traders as well as external counterparties.

Your Responsibilities

• High level of interaction with portfolio managers, providing market analysis
• Build and strengthen networks with regional and local brokers by understanding broker structures and dynamics
• Work closely and collaboratively with the global trading and investment teams as well as other teams within the business, including operations, technology and compliance.
• Implement a robust process to generate original, idiosyncratic and uncorrelated investment ideas supported by proprietary research;
• Utilize alternative data to inform investment decisions, where appropriate;
• Challenge consensus views and monitor volatility

Our Requirements

• Demonstrated 5-10 years of experience working as a sell-side broker, ideally servicing hedge funds
• Experience covering Southeast Asian markets
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build genuine connections and external networks
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Works well in a collaborative environment, supporting other team members and contributing to the team’s overall success

In Singapore we have a 8,400 sq foot office in down town are with over 30 staff. This person will maintain a high standard of cleanliness to provide a safe and hygienic workplace.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for basic office maintenance and staff & guest experience
• Maintain overall cleanliness and tidiness of the office, including floors, furniture, and surfaces
• Handle daily cleaning tasks such as but not limited to sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning of windows, glass surfaces, mirrors, and counters
• Ensure proper disposal of trash and separation of recyclables
• Clean and sanitize kitchen and bathroom areas, including sinks, basins, showers, and toilets.
• Set up a daily breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea counter, beverage preparation and perform post-service clean up, including washing dishes and utensils after meals
• Maintain cleanliness of the pantry area at all times and ensure that pantry offerings and storage adhere to Food Safety Guidelines
• Execute small projects, monitor minor works, relocations and alterations to meet with core activities
• Assist in organizing and set up both in-house and external events

What are we looking for?

• Must have had prior experience working in Financial Services company with good command of English
• Must have prior Barista experience

• Confident and outgoing personality
• Proactive and able to work under pressure

Role Overview:

We are looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic, and highly motivated individual to join the global Trading team based in Singapore. This role enjoys a diverse mixture of responsibilities with a high level of interaction with portfolio managers, key stakeholders and multiple external counterparties.

The three main elements of the position include:

• Trading
• Equity Capital Markets
• Market analysis

Responsibilities:

• Trading across all asset classes in the Asia region - equities, derivatives, credit, OTC etc, and in all regional markets from Australia & NZ to India
• High level of interaction with portfolio managers and analysts, providing execution services, market analysis and colour
• With the regional Head of Trading, managing Equity Capital market activity and interactions, such as blocks, placings and IPOs.
• Work closely and collaboratively with the global trading and investment teams as well as other teams within the business, including operations, technology and compliance.
• Look for ways to improve the capability & efficiency of our proprietary trading systems

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience working as a Trader in either a buy side or sell side role
• This is a job for some one growing in their career. Minimum 3 years relevant trading experience, but no more than 10 years
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• English language is required, while Mandarin is preferred
