As a Wet Chemical and Specialty Chemical Global Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible to support the overall metrological alignment strategy, execution plans and excursion prevention programs to develop Suppliers through Continuous Improvement Programs to ensure advance metrology is constantly applied to materials procured materials/services to Micron. You will work in close partnership with key stakeholders such as Global Quality, Global Procurement, Global Manufacturing Central Team (MCT), Operations, Product Engineering and R&D to develop, execute and measure the effectiveness of Supplier Programs.

1. Development Phase - Sourcing, Selection and Qualification Phase

• Participate, support, and recommend from quality perspective on global sourcing and segmentation strategies, including business continuity, benchmarking, new markets, request for quotation (RFQ)/ request for information (RFI), sourcing, selection, cost savings and other analytics.
• Lead technical risk assessment audit for new supplier/ material engagement or qualification to assess their capability and readiness for High Volume Manufacturing (HVM).
• Set up, communicate, and ensure suppliers understood and comply with Micron Supplier Requirements Standards (SRS).

  Conduct constant look out of advance chemical analytical equipment and technology, work with internal site/supplier on results correlation and deploy into CIP with suppliers in compliance to advance technology
  Conduct research for ≤ 10nm particle detection and work with internal site/supplier on results correlation, and deploy into CIPs with suppliers in compliance to advance technology
  Lead Suppliers towards ISO17025 compliance.
  
• Set up, communicate, and ensure suppliers understood Micron metrology expectations.
• Support Category Strategy for Benchmark to/with Suppliers to ensure Controls and Preventive measures are in place to support Shift-Left-Strategy. Supplier/Material development programs.

2. HVM Phase - Supplier Development and Excursion Management

• Host regular Quality and Technical Review (QTR) meetings with strategic and developing suppliers.
• Manage supplier and sub-supplier changes in Supplier Change Management (SCM).
• Work collaboratively with Global OCT MTE, Operations and Facility globally for deep dive root cause investigations, corrective and preventive actions to ensure no recurrence of related Quality issues.
• Define, manage, and monitor supplier monthly quality performance metrics and their compliance to Micron SRS.

The Computer Services System Engineer supports Computing Infrastructure support to Manufacturing sites. This role supports and maintains the data centers in the Singapore manufacturing sites with a scope of asset management and capacity planning, vendor management for mounting works and asset impairments. Apart from the L3 level hardware and OS support for MFG systems, this role also supports the Private cloud environment running on Hyper Converge Infrastructure. This role will require high proficiency in the hardware platforms for server and storage and domain knowledge to be able to troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues from the L2 support team. The Computer Services L3 will be expected collaborate closely with the site customers, site application teams and other Infra L3 teams in the resolution of issues and the fulfillment of service requests due to the higher complexity and the need to constantly communicate on technical details and implementation. This role will also be responsible to perform changes in critical computing and storage infrastructure supporting Micron’s manufacturing and engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Define, design and implement core computing and storage system hardware and operating system solutions
• Data Center Management for highly-secure, highly-available, operations-centric datacenter environments in Singapore sites with exposure to asset management and capacity planning, vendor management with mounting works, asset impairments and degauss works
• Provide L3 operational support with oncall support, including outside of office hours, and participate in Major incidents.
• Ensure SLA for incidents and service requests are met with high quality of work.
• Ensure KPIs, such as breach case target, MTTR and escalation target is met.
• Work alongside with our team of forward-thinking Engineers in our datacenter environments and interact with other technology teams, to build and maintain the Infrastructure for highly critical applications in those datacenter environments
• Perform changes in critical computing and storage infrastructure supporting Micron’s manufacturing and engineering
• Ensure security, availability, performance, interoperability and reliability of Micron’s core computing and storage resources with continuous improvement projects to ensure
• Collaborate with site customers and Engineering disciplines to develop Reference Architectures and technology standards based on Infrastructure Building Block for computing and storage environment
• Participate in Disaster Recovery planning and testing at the site level to ensure high class Infrastructure redundancy for computing and storage
• Continually work to improve operations and evolve the computing and storage environment to meet future demands
• Lead hardware and software refresh projects with strong collaboration with other technical teams and customers at the site
• Able to drive Engineering efforts in automation and monitoring for computing systems
• Direct the development and maintenance of technical documentation and align with server and storage administration best practices
• Participate in global IT troubleshooting events, global IT Project planning process and in rotational 24/7 Oncall for any local or global IT emergencies.
• Provide global L3 support for sites in North America and Asia, including on weekends and holidays.
• Review Level 2 case management process continually to improve operations by reducing the cases, minimizing escalations and evolve the computing environment to meet future demands.

As a Central PIE Yield Engineer / Senior Engineer / Principal Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for providing leadership to the global Micron network to drive yield, product quality improvement, new product introduction (NPI) through technical expertise, business process management and project execution.

This role needs to centralize the project information, including achievements, design requirements and testing difficulties from multiple departments located in Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, US; and drive the project to meet specs within defined tight schedule.
