JOB SCOPE
The job of the Manager, AFA, is to work collaboratively with the AFA team to manage and perform administrative processes that come under the purview of the AFA Office. The scope includes:

Responsibilities

Management of Faculty-related Processes

• Oversee administrative and evaluative processes for faculty appointments, promotions & tenure, contract renewals, lecturer promotions, and emplacements, ensuring alignment with NIE and NTU guidelines.
• Review dossiers and documents submitted by faculty to ensure accuracy and adherence to university policies.

Established in 2010, the Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N) is a pan-university research institute that focuses on systems-level research for tropical megacities. It performs translational research that covers the energy value chain from generation to innovative end-use solutions, motivated by industrialisation and deployment.

The job is for a Programme Manager (PM) to assist the Programme Director (PD) of the ERI@N Interdisciplinary Research Programme focusing on Artificial Intelligence applied to Energy Applications. This program will enable AI and digitalization across the energy domain and the selected Programme Manager will have to work with and support other ERI@N Programme Directors and Programme Managers and lead the development of projects targeting AI applications across the energy domain. In 2021, Enterprise Singapore, the national standards body for Singapore, had appointed ERI@N as a Standards Development Organisation (SDO) to develop and promote standards under the Electrical and Electronic Standards Committee. This includes standards supporting emerging areas such as renewables -offshore wind/marine & solar energy, secondary batteries and cells, solid state transformers, electrical energy storage systems, and smart grids. We also work with regulators and the industry on standards for electrical installations, building & services and safety and effectiveness of electrical products and services.

We are looking for a passionate Project Manager to support the work of the SDO.

Core expertise:

Project management responsibilities include managing the identification, development and promotion of standards meeting key requirements set by Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG). Standards development

These will include managing the preparations for meetings, capturing key comments, discussions and edits, conducting public consultations, addressing public comments, preparing draft standards for publications.

Facilities Management:
