Duties & Responsibilities
1. Responsible for ensuring all works are planned and undertaken to the required designs, specifications, standards, quality and HSE requirements
2. Will supervise the site team, including subcontractors and vendors.
3. Monitor and report progress of site works and associated costs to the Construction Manager, providing timely identification of deviations from project schedules and budgets.
4. In addition to ensuring the construction schedule is maintained and accurate, you will be responsible for keeping detailed records of all site activities.
5. A further key responsibility will be identification of problematic design issues, making associated recommendations for cost effective re-design solutions.
6. Supports in the investigation of damage, accidents, and delays if required.
7. Resolves construction problems and suggests improved methods.
8. Performs job walks and inspects work in progress to insure quality of work and conformance to specifications.
9. Must possess good communication skills and be capable of making decisions with regard to project matters.
10. Confers with and directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications and coordinating phases of construction to prevent delays.
11. Carry out any other duties as and when assigned by the immediate senior manager or higher management.
Qualification & Experience Generally Required
1. Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent.
2. Qualified candidates would need at least 5 years in Tank construction as a Supervisor.
3. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team with other company members.
Knowledge of MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint is required
