Roles & Responsibilities
- Report to and assist the Operations Manager with the entire catering operations
- Assembling food items / equipment according to the event orders
- Loading and unloading of equipment and food
- Punctual delivery of food and set up of events
- Support the logistics and provide catering services including set up, fulfill service staff requirements when needed for all types of events.
- Responsible for proper care of catering equipment.
- Ensure timely delivery of all events as per the delivery schedule.
- Liaise with clients on set-up requirements.
- Ensure that vehicles are in good working condition and to maintain cleanliness of vehicle
- Exhibit excellent customer service
- Understand and comply with the mandatory hygiene standards and requirements
- Perform any other duties assigned by Superior
REQUIREMENTS
- Must possess a Class 3 driving license with clean records and good driving skills
- At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field
- Must be physically fit and strong as the job requires carrying of heavy events equipment.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent customer service and able to interact well with clients
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure and a good team player.
- Able to work independently and yet adhere to the strict timelines.
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Experience in the set-up of buffet events will be advantageous.
