Senior Accounts Associate

The Work Project is looking for a talented and dedicated Senior Accounts Associate / Accounts Associate. This full-time position is based in Singapore and reports directly to the Finance Manager.

This role is principally responsible for the full spectrum of accounting functions for selected entities and business operations. We are looking for someone who is self-driven, resourceful, proactive and independent. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing full sets of accounts, tax and financial reporting.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts, including but not limited to billing of invoices and updating of receipts, processing of vendor invoices and arranging payments, passing journals, handling inter-company charges, performing bank reconciliation, preparing balance sheet schedules, maintaining fixed assets registers and general ledger
• Liaise with Sales team and Operations team to ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting information
• Perform month-end closing and prepare financial reports
• Monitoring of accounts receivable and accounts payable, as well as inter-company reconciliation
• Handle bank facilities documentation
• Prepare and file quarterly GST submissions
• Handle audit and company tax matters
• Assist in annual budget exercise and variance analysis
• Assist the Finance Manager in other ad-hoc duties as required

Experience & Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting and Finance preferred.
• Minimum 2-4 years working experience, preferably in accounting role handling full set of accounts
• Sound accounting and taxation knowledge
• High sense of responsibility and good communication skills
• Good verbal and written command of English
• Proficient with Accounting and ERP Software, as well as Microsoft Office applications, including MS Excel and MS Power Point. Experience in XERO would be advantageous (but not a must).
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline
• Able to work independently or in a team environment
• Able to start work immediately or within short notice

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients/customers.
• Demonstrate expertise in wine and cocktail preparation, including handling.
• Contribute to basic food preparation and duties, primarily bar snacks.
• Oversee purchasing and receiving procedures to ensure optimal quantity, quality, and price.
• Address member and guest complaints and feedback effectively, advising the duty manager on appropriate corrective actions.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in F&B establishments focusing on wine or cocktail
  • Working knowledge of wine (regions, grape varietals, taste notes)
  • Working knowledge of classic cocktail recipes and preparation
• Possess a keen learning mindset, be self-motivated, independent, and capable of working efficiently under tight deadlines and pressure.
• Vibrant personality, demonstrates effective bilingualism, strong presentation skills, and a keen eye for detail.
• Some experience in back-of-house operations

The Work Project is looking for a talented and dedicated HR & Admin Executive. This full-time position is based in Singapore and reports directly to the Human Resource Manager.

This role is responsible for a variety of tasks, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and other human resource processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR principles and practices, as well as excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

On top of Human Resource functions, minor administrative duties to support the CEO will be included as part of the work scope.

Human Resource Functions

· Responsible for full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding to offboarding

· Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job ads, and screening resumes.

· Manage all work passes application, renewal, and cancellation

· Manage the HR system, including maintaining and updating personnel data, attendance and leave records, performance reviews, and generating letters

· Process employee insurance, including enrollment, termination, and renewals

· Submit Government-Paid Leave Claims

· Stay up-to-date and ensure compliance on labour laws and regulations

· Provide support to employees on a variety of HR-related issues

· Other duties as assigned

Administrative Functions

Support the CEO with:

· Local, travel and insurance claims

· Leave applications

· Ad-hoc duties as required by the CEO

Experience & Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a HR role
• Diploma in Human Resources or related field
• Strong understanding of HR principles and practices
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Good verbal and written command of English
• Proficient Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and Powerpoint. Experience with AGHRM software would be advantageous (but not a must).
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and able to multitask.
