Job Scope:
- EHS Leadership: Lead the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) department to ensure safety standards are upheld across all operations.
- EHS Management System: Develop, implement, review, and maintain the EHS Management System to align with legal and organizational requirements.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and industry standards by conducting regular audits and inspections.
- Incident Management: Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Risk Assessments: Review and update risk assessments to ensure all workplace hazards are addressed and mitigated.
- Safety Culture: Promote a culture of safety and health through education, campaigns, training, and other initiatives.
- Fire and Emergency Preparedness: Oversee fire safety systems, emergency response readiness, and manage emergency response teams.
- Site Inspections: Conduct routine inspections of project sites, main offices, and factory operations to identify and rectify potential safety risks.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with contractors, statutory bodies, and third-party service providers to ensure safety and compliance.
- EHS Training: Conduct training programs on fire safety, workplace safety, and emergency preparedness for employees.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor EHS performance metrics, propose improvement plans, and ensure ongoing upgrades to the EHS management system.
Requirement:
- Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the construction and engineering industry.
- Degree in Workplace Safety and Health with at least 5 years of relevant experience in the construction and engineering industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of EHS practices and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently in high-pressure environments.
