Consumer GI Operations is a team that supports the General Insurance (GI) operations at Income. We played a key role in GI Consumer Business by supporting our stakeholders in Underwriting, Policy Servicing and Claims processing. As a Senior Executive in Consumer GI Operations, Personal Insurance Claims, your key responsibilities include the following: -

• Assess and negotiate settlement of Personal Insurance claims within the approved delegated authority limit

Purpose:

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the transshipment process by scheduling and arranging the movement of goods between different locations.
• Communicate with Global offices and carriers to coordinate schedules, resolve any issues, and ensure timely shipment transit.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to verify compliance with shipping specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Comply with all safety regulations, security protocols, and company policies governing the handling and transportation of hazardous cargo.
• Monitor and track shipments in transit to ensure best efficiency, and minimize handling errors.
• Address any delays or discrepancies that may arise during the transshipment process.
• Assist in resolving inquiries related to transshipment activities, providing timely updates and solutions as needed.
• Assist in other ad-hoc assignments / projects when required.

Job Requirements:

• Candidates who possess at least Higher NITEC or Diploma in Maritime Studies / Shipping-related disciplines are preferred.
• Candidates with at least 2 years of relevant working experience in similar role at shipping agency will have an added advantage.
• Candidates with knowledge in Portnet/ Tradenet, MS Office such as Excel and Word applications will be preferred.
• A team player who can work under fast paced environment with good communication skills.
