Our client is from the education Industry. They are looking for a Senior Accounts Executive (AR & GL) to assist their team for the next phase of their business. They are located in the East - easily accessible.

Responsibilities:

• Regular reconcilation of AR Sub Ledgers with the General Ledger and bank statements.
• Manage daily accounting operations for trade, receivables, payments, cancellations, and refunds.
• Keep the billing system updated.
• Responsible for General Ledger and Reporting
• Responsible for full set of accounts
• Responsible for withholding taxation duties
• All other ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Accountancy or related studies
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge in AP/GL ledger transactions

This will be a 2 years + 1 year contract position based in One North.

Scope of Work

• Execution of procurement contracts
• Work with stakeholders on requisition, sourcing, evaluation, seeking approval for award and contract management.
• Manage the Policies and Procedures to meet with business needs
• Coordinate with various stakeholders and provide advisories to requestors to facilitate sound buying decisions.
• Be involved in sharing and training of Procurement Procedures to stakeholders.
• Ensure the Procurement’s Service Level Agreements commitments.
• Participate in cross functional improvement projects (developing change management plans, evaluating the impact of planned change, identifying risks and mitigation plans).
• Participate in audit review findings/lapses
• Propose changes to governance policies and procedures
• Support audit reviews, investigations, and internal process improvements to resolve identified issues with relevant stakeholders.
• Demand aggregation using insights and trends from data analytics

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in procurement
• Advantageous to have good understanding of Government Procurement policies.
• High achieving, resourceful, independent, clear communication skills, active listening skills.
• Problem solving skills
• Able to concise complex problem into executable solution(s)
• Commercial acumen and analytical skills,
• Able to translate data to intelligence
