Job Duties:

• Greet and seat incoming guests in an upbeat and relaxed manner consistently.
• Communicate VIP arrivals and special needs to relevant team members.
• Input data into CRM system and help build accurate customer profiles
• Negotiate and secure minimum spends
• Menu knowledge of packages and offerings
• Complete knowledge of venue floorplan, table numbers, and seating procedures
• Capturing guest details and imputing properly into the CRM system whenever possible
• Consistently deliver exceptional service to every guest while interacting and entertaining in a professional manner
• Successfully communicate with management team
• Working with all relevant teams to help execute bottle presentations

Job Requirements:

• Ability to communicate in English with guests and co-workers. Additional languages are a plus.
• Consistently maintain a well-groomed appearance, posture, and hygiene.
• Make-up, hair, and all stylings should be in line with Tipsy standards.

This advertisement is for recruiting for the position of Science Laboratory Support Officer.

If successfully selected, you will be seconded to MOE high school located in Goodman Road.

Contract Period: From 01 Jan 2025 to 31 Dec 2025

Option to Extend: for a further period of 1 year from 1 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2026.

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

• Mondays to Fridays: 10:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

The services required are set out as follows:

The key roles and responsibilities of the science laboratory support officer are to provide general cleaning and assist the science laboratory technician to maintain the science laboratories and preparation rooms.

General cleaning of laboratories and preparation rooms

• Sweep and mop floors of laboratories and preparation rooms after use.
• Empty trash bins placed at the sink areas and floors at the end of each day.
• Clean laboratory benches and sinks at the end of each day if there are practical lessons on the day.
• Refill hand soap, disinfectants and paper towels.
• Empty broken glassware container if it is filled.

Provide general cleaning of laboratory equipment and apparatus under laboratory technician’s guidance

• Washing of glassware (beakers, measuring cylinders, plastic bottles and vials).

Support laboratory technician to prepare materials and equipment under supervision

• Replicate the experimental set-up after an example has been shown.
• Weigh chemicals into bottles, fill up bottles with solutions and/or prepare other science-related equipment or materials.
• Distribute or replenish equipment or chemicals to students during practical lessons.

The personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

1. At least one year of work experience supporting School’s operations.
2. Preferably has experience as a cleaner supporting science laboratory operations.

Job Descriptions:

• Report directly to Branch Manager
• Follow up on customer request, appointment, enquires, call, complaints and confirmation promptly
• To make cold call and any new leads call provided by the company
• Re-confirm customer’s appointment a day before their treatment
• To follow-up service call to customer after treatment (three days)
• Responsible to deliver and provide Quality Services
• Daily data entry for customers, staff and print report for compilation
• To ensure the cleanliness standards at reception area
• Issuing of invoices and service rendering
• Generation of daily reports
• Assist in general administrative duties
• Preparing and issue of relevant documents, printing and filing as well as inventory control
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties and other matters as assigned by the Company

Job Requirements:

• At least 2 years’ experience in beauty spa environment and services
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision and is able to multi-task
• Willing to work retail hours (including weekends and public holidays)

Part-Time positions are available at $15/hour - $18/hour
