The Senior Research Assistant will be working on projects which are at the intersection of artificial intelligence and architecture, the successful candidate will work with researchers from other domains to implement deep learning modules with spatial and geometrics datasets across the design scales of products, buildings and cities.

Requirements:

• Masters Degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Architecture or any other related fields
• Experience in deep learning frameworks
• Proficient in programming skills
• Good interdisciplinary approach in working with real-world datasets

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Good knowledge of interior architectural details, working drawings and construction practices
• Proficient in AutoCad, SketchUp, Photoshop, MS Office suite, Revit
• Flair in design; able to sketch fast and produce a good design concept
• Good understanding of materials cost and application
• Work closely with the project manager, design coordinators, and project teams on conceptual designs, presentations, design development, and production
• Responsible for project deliverables, meeting overall project design schedules
• Result-oriented and passionate to deliver projects successfully
• Able to work independently with a high degree of integrity
• Value support and cultivate cooperation among colleagues
• Work closely with the team and Design Lead to develop, coordinate and implement the interior design of projects from concept design to documentation and construction
• Liaison with client, sub-contractor

JOB COMPETENCY (QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE)

• A recognized Degree/ Diploma in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
• 2-5 years of local working experience
• Fresh graduates with a desire to grow professionally are welcome
• Preferable experience in the workplace
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Strong presentation, communication & interpersonal skills
• Able to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Conversant with local codes and regulations

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement competitive strategies to achieve substantial growth in the sales and market shares;
• Identify new and emerging opportunities in the market and strategically tap them to promote a new product line;
• Compile market intelligence such as competitors’ pricing, new product launches and competing activities as well as information on new players;
• Establish and manage clientele base and maintain a good working relationships with customers (eg. developers, architects, contractors, etc);
• Work with architects in setting specifications for both commercial and residential projects;
• Plan and participate in trade fairs/exhibitions to promote maximum brand exposure;
• Attend to all project tender documentation and translation if necessary;
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales forecasts on the ‘Project’ and ‘Distributor’ sectors;
• Attend to site inquiries and render technical assistance upon request by clients;

Requirements:

• Preferably a Diploma/Degree in Sales & Marketing or its equivalence with at least 1-year relevant experience in the same capacity;
• Sales-driven and customer oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Resourceful and possess a high level of commitment and determined to excel;
• Good business acumen with sensitivity to business trends and market conditions;
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills;
• Possess strong initiative and able to be a good team player;
• Those with relevant experience in consumer durables and building distribution networks have an added advantage.
