Job Description

• Lead the end-to-end design process for SeaTalk, integrating messaging, enterprise management, and open platform functionalities, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Lead, mentor and support junior designers within the SeaTalk Product & Design team, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers to comprehend product requirements and business goals and translate them into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
• Conduct comprehensive user research, utilizing both qualitative and quantitative methods, to identify user needs, pain points, and behaviors, and iterate on designs based on feedback for enhanced usability and satisfaction.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs adhering to SeaTalk's design principles and branding guidelines, ensuring consistency across all design elements.
• Maintain and refine design systems, patterns, and components to optimize the UI design process and ensure scalability and consistency throughout the platform.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a robust portfolio showcasing proficiency in both disciplines. Prior experience with messaging products, SaaS solutions, enterprise management systems, or similar platforms is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Arts or a related field.
• Expertise in UX methodologies, including user research, usability testing, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Proficiency in UI design principles, using tools such as Figma, and familiarity with front-end development technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is advantageous.
• Stay abreast of the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies to ensure design excellence.
• Demonstrate strong logical and systematic thinking abilities, enabling the analysis of complex problems and the development of structured solutions.

• Experience with Solidwork 3D preferred
• Hands-on experience with design, engineering and/or fabrication of mechanical parts preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
