The Assistant Manager, Development (Campaigns) works closely with the fundraising team to implement comprehensive, public-facing fundraising campaigns for the Singapore Symphony Group (SSG). This includes project management of the year-end mass appeal, the annual fundraising dinner’s appeal, and other evolving campaigns to support SSG’s development strategies.

• Work with relevant departments to leverage various channels to expand the reach of campaigns to various targeted audiences, including social media, concert spaces, and other platforms. Adapt key campaign messaging to various platforms for maximum impact.
• Report campaign progress along the way, and work with Managers to adjust the campaign strategy if needed.
• Conduct post-campaign analysis on the effectiveness of campaigns in the format of report writing, to inform future strategies.
• Ensure campaign finance compliance, adhering to the 30:70 fundraising rule, and maintaining accurate records of donations, expenditures, and financial transactions.

CAMPAIGN ASSETS MANAGEMENT

• Oversee and manage updates to the relevant fundraising webpages, to maximize the effectiveness of online fundraising methods, including but not limited to the SSO’s website, SSO’s giving.sg site, Benevity and other platforms.
• Oversee and manage the segmentation of donors according to campaign types to ensure targeted messaging.

RESEARCH

• Perform basic donor research on prospective and new donors to create donor dossiers.
• Research best practices for mass fundraising campaigns and work with the department to adapt them according to trends and perceptions to suit the company’s needs.
• Support grant research and proposal development.

OTHERS

• Handle any other matters essential to maintaining sponsors, donors and potential donors satisfaction with the company’s professionalism.
• Assist with other development, promotional, or publicity events for the company.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or degree holder.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Responsible for leading mechanical design team

· Develop a deep understanding of design specifications based on customer requirements, , organizational goals, and business strategies. Conceptualize and develop solutions based on project requirements and Company standards through the use of simulations/modelling to support design concept used.

· Develop design specification sheet with relevant info related to the project and update as and when required and distribute to relevant parties.

· Carry out detailed cycle time study for individual modules to select the appropriate machine or module design. Develop 3D model of the machine and/or modules assigned with optimised design for manufacturing, cost, quality and safety.

· Initiate and carry out internal design reviews to share and explain the completed modules with other departments.

· Initiate and carry out design review with customer base on project schedule

· Revise design and documents based on both internal and external review

· Create and update flow chart for the module or the entire machine

· Create part drawings and assembly drawings based on approved design and obtain approval from department manager

· Create Bill Of Materials (BOM) for the modules assigned based on design schedule given

· Create drawing release file and send out drawings for quotation

· Send out standard part list for quotation based on BOM

· Receive quotation and make price comparison spreadsheet

· Raise PR and get department manager approval and send to Purchase department for negotiation and ordering

· Promptly support any design issues discovered during fabrication and /or assembly stages

· Make necessary modifications needed, update design, drawings and get approval from department manager.

· Release revised drawings to supplier and internal assembly team

· Support machine assembly team as and when necessary, with set up and fine tuning of machines

Pre-Operations

· Clean work areas (Back & Front of House) and ensure clean environment before cafe operations.

· Check equipment & facilities to ensure all in working order and report faults / defects for immediate rectifications and maintenance.

· Prepare food ingredients, materials, and other items for café operations.

· Prepare and getting ready food items to be sold at kiosks.

· Ensure menu, visual cards and displays are in order.

· Wash and clean up of equipment and work areas (Back & Front of House).

Operations

· Display & replenish food items at Front of House.

· Manage sales of kiosk items

· Upkeep general café cleanliness and food safety.

· Operate POS registers & troubleshoot problems when applicable.

Post-Operations

· Close & tally daily sales and handover cash proceeds to Café Team Lead or designated staff.

· Wash and clean work equipment as well as work areas (Back & Front of House).

· Dispose of food scraps and trash properly.

2. General Duties

· Store & housekeep food items and equipment properly safe.

· Proper usage and maintenance of café facilities and equipment as well as timely report for any faults.
