About You

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Support a class and accommodate the diverse needs of young children.

• Provide classroom observation and comprehensive evaluation for children 0-8 referred to the EIC Developmental Preschool Programme for suspected developmental delays or disabilities: motor skills, cognition, communication, and social-emotional areas.
• Be familiar with positive reinforcement and behavioural management strategies.
• Implement special educational strategies and techniques during the lesson.
• Establish clear objectives for all lessons and communicate those objectives to students.
• Maintain accurate and complete daily student records.
• Meet with parents and guardians to discuss their children's progress, and to determine their priorities for their children and their resource needs.
• Assist families in understanding child development and identifying developmentally appropriate expectations
