• Collaborate with healthcare providers, clinical staff, and IT teams to gather, document, and analyze requirements for the EpicCare Ambulatory EMR system.
• Work closely with the Epic implementation team to ensure the successful deployment, configuration, and optimization of the EpicCare Ambulatory EMR system.
• Analyze existing clinical workflows and processes, and recommend modifications to improve efficiency and patient care within the Epic system.
• Assist in configuring and customizing the EpicCare Ambulatory EMR modules to meet the specific needs of healthcare practices, ensuring alignment with clinical and business objectives.
• Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and scenarios to validate system functionality, data integrity, and workflow alignment. Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
• Provide training and ongoing support to end-users, ensuring they are proficient in using the EpicCare Ambulatory EMR system. Develop training materials and documentation as needed.
• Analyze clinical and operational data within the Epic system to generate reports and dashboards that support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as a liaison between clinical staff, IT teams, and management, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project requirements, timelines, and outcomes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on EpicCare Ambulatory EMR systems.
• Proficient in EpicCare Ambulatory EMR, with hands-on experience in system implementation, configuration, and support.
• Epic certification in EpicCare Ambulatory or other relevant Epic modules is preferred.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows, healthcare operations, and the ability to align EMR systems with clinical needs.
• Familiarity with healthcare IT systems, data analysis tools, and experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex healthcare processes and systems, providing innovative solutions.
