Investment Execution

·         Oversee the full trade life cycle and ensure the team is aligned for authorizations.

·         Follow through on investment decisions ensuring accurate and timely execution by brokers and custodians.

·         Coordinate investment execution, eg completing subscription forms, compiling KYC documentation and obtaining director signatures.

·         Liaise with the custodian to instruct investment subscription and ensure cash settlement.

·         Collate and review contract notes received directly from fund’s administrator and/or the custodian.

·        Manage transactions during the life of an investment, eg capital calls.

Custodian Management

·         Liaise with the custodian to ensure the provision of timely and accurate data on investments, including valuations, for group financial reporting.

·         Review data input in the custodian’s custody/reporting system.

·        Reconcile fees charged by the custodian.

General

·         Drive management of large BAU items such as reporting and taking ownership of delivery timelines.

·         Provide day-to-day guidance, mentoring and training of juniors.

Qualifications/Experience

Position Purpose:

Reporting to the Group Head of FP&A, the Senior Finance Analyst will partner with the Business Unit Managers and support groups to provide the necessary guidelines, strategies, plans, processes and controls in the region and divisional brand P&Ls.

Responsibilities:

A. Budgeting/Forecasting & Variance Analysis

• Analyze revenue, profitability by brand/customer/channel/market with quality commentary

The candidate must have 10+ years working experience in the following areas: -

• Relevant experience in a Financial Institution for IFRS9 Calculation and Reporting, Stress testing and Expected Credit Loss (ECL) and Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) simulations.
• Good understanding of core banking and treasury products and data requirement for management accounting or regulatory reporting
• Good understanding in SDLC phases

• Preparation of Functional, Non-Functional & other documents required in compliance to SDM and procure sign off from Users
• Prepare SIT test schedule and develop test cases and conduct SIT testing

The APAC Senior Tax Analyst is a core member of the ServiceNow Corporate Tax Team, with the primary responsibility of supporting the Tax Director - APAC in all external and internal tax reporting requirements for our legal entities in APAC region.  You must have the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment and to work closely and proactively with numerous functional teams across our organization. This position will be based in Singapore.

• Support tax compliance for ServiceNow entities in the APAC region. 
• Prepare work papers, coordinate with third party tax advisors to file corporate income returns and arrange for tax payments.
• Collaborate cross functionally with external statutory auditors and Financial Reporting Team to prepare or review tax disclosures in the statutory financial statements. 
• Prepare income tax provision for APAC entities for USGAAP and local GAAP purposes, including current and deferred tax, tax payable reconciliations, tax accounts roll-forward and return-to-provision true-up.
• Support transfer pricing such as intercompany transactions analysis and local transfer pricing documentation.
• Provide support for tax audits and tax controversy matters in the region.
• Assist in M&A and tax planning/ restructuring projects, including modelling related tax impacts.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to streamline and automate tax-related procedures.
• Support internal control testing and maintain SOX documentation and processes.
• Build collaborative working relationships with Legal, Accounting, FP&A, and Corporate Development Teams.  Effective communication of tax considerations to business stakeholders.
• Research and evaluate tax impact of current and proposed tax legislation.

Custodian and system expert who can advise, analyze, plan, implement, maintain, support (and retire/refresh where required) all locally hosted (On premise, Cloud) data related platforms inclusive of data lakes, data warehouses, data marts, ETL, reporting, dash boarding and analytics:

Common to all Senior Analyst

• Maintain and ensure data platforms running in production are kept running and supported in a healthy state;
• Analyze and recommend new application and platform acquisitions to meet evolving Singapore Operation’s needs based on capturing and documenting business requirements elicited from business stakeholders
• Where the data platforms are in-house developed do the required coding and development, otherwise engage with 3rd party vendor to get enhancements developed and then deploy into test and prod when ready
• Ensure IT is operated in a manner that complies with Bank Policies and frameworks, standards, circulars, guidelines and MAS regulated act, notices, circulars, and guidelines applicable to technology (Compliance, Audit, Risk Adherence). – Application and Platforms

IT Operations

• Ensure data platforms running in production are healthy and functioning per expected.

• Ensure prompt and efficient provision of IT support based on assigned area of expertise (includes request from Data center operations team)

• Oversee contingency plans and ensure their adequacy

• Ensure IT assets are protected and secure

• Maintain and ensure timely renewal of digital certificates and proper lodgment with IT security team.

• Ensure IT operations run in a manner consistent with high score from audit, risk, compliance assessments. The following to be operationalized as standard procedure against all IT asset components:

1. Administrative Accounts – All admin accounts lodged into PAM solution per group IT Security guidelines and MAS notice 655 point 4.1
2. Patching – Patch notification process established with vendors and patch calendar updated, upon patch release assessment and implementation as needed Per patching guidelines and MAS notice 655 point 4.2
3. Hardening - Per component definition and enforcement against SG security standard and Group IT Security guidelines and SG addendum/s and MAS notice 655 point 4.3
4. Network Perimeter Defense – Network traffic and segments, firewalls, proxies, dns, vpn access setup in secure manner per group IT security guidelines and MAS notice 655 4.4

• Malware – IT Security consulted and all required IT security protections installed on IT assets per MAS notice 655 point 4.5
• Multi-factor Authentication – MFA, where applicable implement MFA of administrative and internet accounts with access to customer information using PAM per MAS notice 655 point 4.6
• Logging and Monitoring – Security, Capacity, Downtime, Audit
• Capacity Mgmt. – Pre-emptive monitoring (via monitoring), planning and execution of capacity upgrades as needed
• EOL/EOS Upgrades – Per group guidelines. Track and execute upgrades and/or do risk assessment and deviation approval.
• Housekeeping – scripted clean-ups and truncations of logs and temp files after necessary archives executed

• Work with system stakeholders to ensure proper classification of system criticality and ensure design and architecture can meet the assessed criticality needs:
  • MAS 644 defined Critical system – Ensure DR setup and working and can achieve RTO within 4 hours, RPO within 2 hours and maximum unplanned downtime of not more than 4 hours per rolling 12 months;
  • MAS 644 defined non-critical system – Ensure HA/DR per stakeholder requirement.
• BCM related activity planning and execution
• Review and Approve/Reject production change requests as part of TCAB committee
• Raise CAB CR as necessary
• Cutover related planning and execution
• Ensure and maintain adequate test environments in good working order to support enhancements and new projects;

Application and Systems Development / New Platform Acquisition

• Lead in the requirements gathering and documentation, design and where in-house the coding, test support and implementation of new systems or enhancements of existing systems:
  • Analyze, design, document and develop technical solutions according to business requirements (or in case of off the shelf, co-ordinate with 3rd party vendor)
  • Provide accurate, complete and up to date system documentation
  • Provide training to users to ensure correct usage and proper adoption upon rollout
  • Oversee the QA of software implementation
  • Oversee the deployment and implementation of applications to run on Cloud for existing systems based on end-user needs and business rationale.
  • Assist team lead to write and table committee papers as required to get new systems and/or platforms, or major refreshes approved.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Risk Analyst, you will be involved in supporting the risk operations by conducting data analysis of large datasets to discover fraud trends and patterns, thereafter being involved in designing long-term solutions to fight fraud. The insights you provide will contribute towards optimizing risk management strategies and creating business value by enabling trust for our clients. Responsibilities include: 

• Handle end to end process from data analysis, deriving insights, summarizing, and presenting recommended actions to stakeholders in order for us to stay ahead of new and unknown fraud. 
• Monitor any new or existing implementations and/or deployments relating to risk, keeping up to date with the latest metrics of our clients and their respective potential fraud trends and analyses. 
• Timely response to alerts for any risk related escalations. 
• Deep dive investigation on potential issues such as changes to clients’ metrics (e.g., sudden dip or spike), communicate and work with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely resolution. 
• Optimize fraud detection by rapidly identifying emerging fraud trends through data-driven analysis in complex and large dataset such as device metadata, user data, payment data – and coming up with proposals to address them and preventing future occurrence. 

• At least 5 years of experience as a hands-on analyst with risk knowledge. 
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Sciences, Statistics, Mathematics, or other related fields. 
• Working experience in handling large-scale unstructured data. 
• Experience in using business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Excel, Tableau, and Qlik Sense. 
• Experience in SQL or other data handling tools a bonus. 
• Ability to take initiative in a fast-moving and dynamic environments, and take timely actions to prevent risk of fraud.
