This is an established brand name and the company is well-known in the market for their products and services. Currently, the bank seeks for an Operational Risk (Senior Officer/Assistant Manager) to be part of their risk team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• BCP/BCM exercise (Conduct BCM test (call tree exercise and ensure compliance of BCM framework to regulatory requirements)
• Outsourcing/Analyze impact on operational risk (New transactions, New products, New technologies, Any amendments/updates to existing processes)
• Review impact on operational risk
• Ensure compliance of bank’s policies
• Ascertain current/future risk areas
• Propose recommendations and report on operational risk findings
• Follow up progress of any previous Internal/external audit or MAS or Head office findings/action plans and issues have been resolved
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Any other adhoc duties

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Accountancy/Commerce/ACCA or any other relevant education
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on Operational risk (BCP Management and outsourcing) in Banking and/or financial institutions
• Sharp, focus, analytical and has good interpersonal and communication skills

• Conduct regular audits and inspections of facilities to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with EHS regulations.
• Lead incident investigations to determine root causes and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a safety-first culture and ensure employee engagement in EHS initiatives.
• Provide training and resources to employees on EHS policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Monitor and report on key EHS metrics, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated on changes in EHS regulations, standards, and best practice relevant to the industry.
• Serve as primary point of contact for regulatory agencies regarding EHS matters.
• Familiar with local regulatory requirements related to workplace safety and health, and all other aspects of safety.
• Possess ISO and OHSAS knowledge and implementation.

Requirement:

· At least 3 years of relevant experience in construction industry preferably 3 years with developer/main contractor

· Must be a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with MOM and have been practicing as WSHO for at least 3 years

· Has developed a Risk Management Implementation Plan (bizSAFE Level 2) or equivalent

· Good communication skills and team player

· Must be able to clear any internal security checks conducted by the Singapore Government

· Class 3 Qualified Driving License

Candidate must have audit experience.

Job Description:

• To assist Safety Manager on all safety, health, environmental, and welfare matters, to ensure the Project complies with its statutory obligations and safety requirements.
• To ensure the implementation and monitoring of appropriate safety measures in accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act.
• To assist Safety Manager in liaising and co-ordinate with stakeholders, and other Consultants employed by Developer.
• To attend Main contractor’s daily toolbox briefings, conduct regular site safety inspections, and prepare report of observation and follow up on the rectification.
• To highlight areas where training/certification is required to meet the standards imposed by Legislation, Approved Codes of Practice, or H.S.E. guidance.
• To familiarize with the risks and control measures related to each work activity.
• To carry out investigations into all accidents and near-miss incidents and to record the findings on the relevant forms.

Requirement:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in construction industry preferably 3 years with developer/main contractor.
• Must be a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with MOM and have been practicing as WSHO for at least 5 years.
• Has developed a Risk Management Implementation Plan (bizSAFE Level 2) or equivalent.
