RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Volunteers Management
- Assist the Community Relations Manager in managing volunteers
- Recruit, process applications, and assess suitability of new volunteers
- Arrange and conduct volunteer training and orientation
- Coordinate volunteering schedules and events with relevant departments
- Maintain volunteer records and manage appreciation efforts
2. Feedback Gathering
- Conduct surveys to gather feedback on resident and stakeholder engagements
- Document feedback for improvements and awards submissions
- Manage post-event survey feedback
3. Corporate Communication
- Assist in providing reports, write-ups, and photographs for organizational newsletters and events
- Document events and archive photos
4. Engagement of the Community
- Orientate visitors and conduct tours of facilities
- Represent the organization at external meetings and functions
- Coordinate major events and collaborate on projects with external agencies
- Participate in developmental activities and maintain knowledge in relevant fields
5. Awards Submissions
- Prepare and submit nominations for various awards
- Present shortlisted entries for awards including Ageing Asia, Community Care Excellence Award (CCEA), and others
QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor's degree in fields such as Healthcare Management, Social Work, Public Relations, Communications, or a related discipline is often preferred.
Job Requirements
- Preferably with 2 - 4 years relevant working experience
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills
- Should be a team player who is patient, warm and helpful and organised at work
- Knowledge of software packages such as Microsoft Office and Excel is required

Working Hours
Under normal circumstances the hours of duty will be as follows:
- 8.30am to 5.45pm (Monday to Friday, 45 minutes lunch break)
