The Community Engagement and Marketing Executive is responsible to perform duties for Resource Development Department under the Active Community Transformation Services (ACTS) Division of Metropolitan YMCA Singapore. The incumbent is to support the outreach programmes departments in handling marketing, fundraising, volunteer management activities.

1. Marketing & Public Relations

· Develop and deliver digital and print marketing collaterals for division’s initiatives and campaigns

· Execute all marketing communications activities such as content creation across social media platforms

· Measure and report on effectiveness of social media campaigns

· Assist in coordinating with external vendor and partners for division’s project

2. Administrative & Financial

· Maintains accurate administrative records and tracking of donors and volunteers’ data in the databases

· Maintain proper record of all payments, such as basic book keeping, prepares and submits printer contra, petty cash, cash advance, purchase order, approval memos and other monthly expenses and special events

· Preparations of reports for both internal and external stakeholders (e.g. management reports)

3. Fundraising

· Support Fundraising manager in event management and projects

· Coordinate and liaise with stakeholders (e.g. individuals, corporations, foundations) for effective engagement

· Assist in donor cultivation through account tracking

· Assist in research, grant applications, proposals and donor impact reports

4. Volunteer Management

· Supports Volunteer Manager in recruitment, screening and coordination of volunteers for outreach programmes/events

· Supports volunteer engagement in volunteer onboarding, equipping and appreciation sessions

Job Role Description

A Senior Speech-Language Therapist is part of the CCDU’s leadership team. S/he assesses and provides intervention to students with speech, language, communication, and works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to provide quality care. S/he also contributes to the development and review of processes and resources, supervision of junior therapists and partakes in research and evaluation as needed.

Critical Work Functions

Strategic Planning

• Implement and track progress on strategic plans – output and outcomes for the different initiatives across the Child Development Unit.

Speech Therapy

• Maintain a clinical caseload - provide assessment and intervention for students across The Canossian Village
• Review and enhance ST related processes, workflows, documentation and reports
• Lead ST team in monthly case management, case reviews Work with heads and sector coordinators on service delivery and planning, as needed
• Supervise STs as needed (students, etc.)

Department

• Undertake quality improvement projects as (e.g. resource planning, room allocation and décor, digitization of resources, SOP for loaning of therapist resources, etc.)
• Undertake research projects as identified
• Represent the CCDU during village-wide and community events, as needed

Training

• Provide training to staff and parents in the Canossian Village and external partners (schools, institutions)

General

• Perform any other duties as assigned

Education, Skills, and Competencies

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology (or equivalent) from an accredited university recognised by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)
• Valid Practising Certificate with Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)
• Minimum 5 years of working experience with paediatric population
• Experience in supervisory / management role will be an advantage

Technical Skills and Competencies

• Understanding and knowledge of service provision for children with special needs and their families (From early years to primary years and across EI, mainstream and SPED settings)
• Knowledge of hearing loss will be an advantage

Generic Skills and Competencies

• Capacity to work effectively in response to work demands (responding to client needs in different circumstances including critical incidents)
• Keep abreast of latest research and developments in speech therapy and be involved in networking with other community organisations, hospitals and schools

Responsibilities:

• Support any networking events with stakeholders such as government agencies, grassroots, and community-based organizations to raise awareness of mental health
• Support mental health screening events to identify those who are at-risk/diagnosed with mental health conditions and connect them with the right services for early diagnosis and treatment
• Provide basic emotional and cognitive support to clients who are at-risk/diagnosed with mental health conditions and/or their caregivers and link them up with relevant services based on their needs
• Ensure proper maintenance of case documentation and timely submission of reports to external parties
• Support the run of a caregiver support group

Requirements:

• Diploma Holder preferably with some social service experience
• Passionate to work in the mental health sector and community services
• Good communication skills (oral, written, bilingual) and interpersonal skills
• A team player who can also work independently
• Detail-oriented in keeping proper documentation

Job Description:

· Manage admin and performance related functions in a Senior Care Centre

· Interact with new clients and prepare client Service Contracts

· Process fee invoices and handle fee collection
