Job Description:

• Overall in charge of site coordination.
• Manage and oversee the day-to-day construction activities of the project.
• Monitor and control the general workers' deployment on-site.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of related work experience in a similar capacity in the local construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Office Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, including office supplies, equipment, facilities, and maintenance. Manage office layout to improve team efficiency and productivity.
• Team Leadership: Supervise administrative staff, provide training, and set performance standards. Conduct performance reviews, encourage professional growth, and foster a supportive team environment.
• Budget Management: Prepare and manage the budget for office operations. Monitor expenses, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce administrative policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency across the organization.
• Communication & Coordination: Act as a liaison between departments to streamline communication and facilitate workflow. Coordinate internal and external communications, ensuring timely responses.
• Project Management: Support various departmental projects by providing logistical and administrative support. Track progress and ensure deadlines are met.
• Vendor Management: Evaluate and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts, oversee agreements, and ensure services meet the organization's standards.

Job Description

• Provide administrative and contractual support and maintain all required project information throughout each project for claim purposes to ensure that the claim data are up-to-date and comprehensive.
• Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
• Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or construction foreman to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Prepare progressive claims and potential variation claims at regular intervals of the project.
• Able to read drawings and take out the quantity , prepare tender
• Maintaining proper documentation of correspondence from contract award to job completion to ensure all relevant claims are lodged accordingly to the client timely.
• Ensure proper closing-out of project account finalization.
• Able to draft letter to client or contractor for contractual issues

Job Responsibilities

• Possess a Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent
• Able to do Tender
• Proficient in using AutoCAD
• Familiar with sketchup and able to make 3D proposal for projects
• Preferably with 2 years of relevant working experience

• Prepare method statements, design plans, and specifications.
• Liaise with the stakeholders (e.g. clients, authorities, consultants) on permits, drawings, and design matters.
• Develop projected milestone and operational plans for different phases of the project which includes scheduling, monitoring and reviewing of the work of others.
• Determine project requirements and estimate resources such as manpower, materials and equipment.
• Ensure that site works are executed accordingly based on approved detailed drawings, interpreted plans, and requirements of relevant authorities.
• Ensure project meets dateline/schedule, safety & quality standards of client’s requirements. Support contract administration and construction inspection by reviewing final plans, specifications, special conditions, and agreements.
• Other job duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Others), Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety), or equivalent.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
• Familiar with Civil, Archi & Steel Structural Works
• Experience in process plants handling both consultants with client will be added advantage
