Background

Unlike regular directors, nominee directors aren't engaged in activities like voting, attending board meetings, or opening a company bank account. Their passive role contrasts with the executive responsibilities of regular directors who make management decisions and oversee daily business operations.

Responsibilities

1. Opening of company bank accounts

2. Act as Nominee Director for the company.

3. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

4. Exercise reasonable diligence despite your limited managerial involvement.

Requirements

1. Previous experience as a Nominee Director is preferred but not compulsory.

2. Slight knowledge of Singapore banks is preferred but not compulsory.
