A market leader in the Information Technology industry is seeking a Regional Accountant to join their fast-growing organisation.

This is a regional role involving day-to-day accounting operations, managing month-end closing for APAC entities, as well as internal controls. You will be providing support for audit and tax-related matters, and implementing SOX controls. Furthermore, the role includes handling statutory tax compliance and partaking in finance transformation projects, as well as actively supporting the company's strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have a degree in Accountancy and Finance, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant GL accounting experience in a vibrant and dynamic set up. Big4 Auditors with a keen interest toward accounting in the commercial setting are welcomed to apply as well.

• Full Spectrum of accounting activities
• Manage fixed asset and lease asset
• Budget monitoring, capitalization, monthly depreciation and disposal
• Prepare month end/quarter-end/year-end journal entries and supporting reconciliations
• Organize and work closely with Accounts Executives and the Business Units key personnel to ensure accurate and timely month end closing
• Handle monthly management reports
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Min Diploma in Accounting
• Min 4 years experience with similar job scope
• Proficient in SAP
• Possess experiecne and knowledge in handling Malaysia accounting, SST and Corporate Tax
• 6 months Contract
• Monday to Friday (9am - 545pm)
• Location: Tai Seng
• Salary: Up to $4500
