AREAS OF MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Maintain full set of accounts and ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and forecast
2) Handle day to day account operations and be responsible for accounting processes and tasks
3) Responsible for preparation of monthly management reports including the current month's closing results and 3-month forecast
4) Supervise one AP staff
5) Reconcile intercompany balances/transactions and ensure account reconciliations are performed and reviewed
6) Prepare weekly cashflow report, bank reconciliation and journal entries
7) Handle annual audit and tax agent for annual filing
8) Prepare GST submission and filing
9) Assist in new processes and system implementation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
10)Any other tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Education:
Bachelor in Accountancy or ACCA

Skills:
Process improvement skills
Strong accounting knowledge

Experience:
Experience with managing full set of accounts and monthly forecast.

In this role, you will report into the Finance Manager and be supported by the Senior Accountant in maintaining a full sets of accounts including recording invoices, preparing payments, quarterly GST reports and preparing monthly bank reconciliations. You will also be involved in hr administration duties including processing of work pass applications and insurance matters.

You should ideally come with a Diploma/ACCA or it's equivalent and have 2 years of prior experience in a similar capacity. Experience in Quickbooks is an advantage. You should be independent, meticulous and be comfortable working in a lean set up.

• Manage full set of accounts, including invoicing, receipt updates, vendor invoice processing, payment arrangements, journal entries, inter-company charges, bank reconciliation, balance sheet schedules, fixed assets registers, and general ledger maintenance
