The Food and Beverage Service Associate is responsible for delivering friendly and efficient Food and Beverage service according to hotel Standard Operating Procedures in order to meet guest dining experience expectations.

Primary Responsibilities

Food and Beverage Service

• Provides excellent service at all times to guests based on established hotel standard operating procedures.
• Greets and farewells guests and colleagues in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Assists colleagues and guests efficiently and in a professional manner.
• Takes responsibility for residents’ and guest belongings in the restaurant or bars.
• Has extensive knowledge of our food & beverage menus in order to service our product, including liquors and cocktails.
• Offers menu options and advice and takes orders.
• Offers drinks, pre, during and after meal service.
• Remembers guest’s preferences to extends personalised service.
• Takes guest’s Food & Beverage orders accurately and assures correct input in Point of Sales system.
• Double checks order list before "sending" ticket to the kitchen.

• Verifies guest satisfaction with each table during each course served.
• Uses the guest name appropriately and communicates it to restaurant colleagues and managers.
• Serves food in a timely and efficient manner.
• Arranges and maintains all assigned side stations and continually stocks each station before and after every shift.

Knowledge and Experience

• Certificate or diploma in hospitality or related field or minimum of 6-12 months hands on experience in food service position, similar operations style.

• Gather software requirements and design solutions for modules and small software systems

Job Descriptions:

1. Deliver Meal Service to patients, attend to and assist with food related concerns and queries of patients.
2. Take the patients’ meal orders using the Electronic Meal Ordering System (eMOS).
3. Perform duty as a Service Ambassador to meet requests and attend to the hospitality needs patients.
4. Ensure accuracy of every patient’s meal orders, preference, restrictions, special requests and food allergies are properly recorded in the eMOS.
5. Clear soiled meal trays from patient rooms at the given time.
6. Attend to wards and patient’s food related issues, complaints and feedbacks. Coordinate with the Kitchen staff for follow up action and service recovery.
7. Undertake any duties as assigned by Superior.
8. Comply with all Food Hygiene and Safety practices and NEA regulations governing leanliness and hygiene.

Requirements:

• At least a Secondary Education in any discipline
• Preferably with Basic Food Hygiene cert will be an advantage
• Service oriented and good communication skills
• Experience in healthcare, hotel, food & beverage, hospitality industry will be an added advantage
• Able to work on 12-hour shifts, weekends and public holidays
• 4-days work week (Total working hours is 44 hours in a week)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Pricing Manager to ensure swift and precise responses for pricing and quotations, catering to internal departments, overseas stations, and clients.
• Timely response to client pricing inquiries and processing of e-bids via customer portals.
• Efficiently manage tenders and RFQs for various Air-freight products when assigned.
• Gather pricing information from carriers, co-loaders, and internal network sources (product teams, overseas stations) to deliver client-specific solutions and pricing.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with carriers and co-loaders.
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for all Air-freight inquiries.
• Take responsibility for coordinating collection arrangements with both internal and external customers.
• Collaborate with vendors to plan collection schedules and provide the Air Export operation team with comprehensive execution details, including cost information.
