The Opportunity

The Project/Product Manager (PM)position is a part of the Global IT Department, which is directly overseen by the Group’s CIO. Job Responsibilities:

· Work collaboratively with our global engineering team to deliver and improve industry-leading business applications in a highly iterative pattern

· Understand markets, competition, and user (both internal and external) requirements in depth; take ownership over specific business applications with a willingness to take responsibility for the end result

· Embody a quantitative and statistical approach to project and product management. Designing unbiased KPIs and other metrics to justify project/product outcomes. Regularly survey/interview users for product feedback.

Requirements:

· 2+ years of experience as a product manager, project manager, or program manager at a software company

Job Responsibilities

This is a newly created role as the Company’s Group plans to set up a Shared Services Department.

The role holder, reporting to the Financial Controller, is responsible for leading and managing the Finance Shared Services Accounts Payable (AP) team to deliver quality services and improve the overall efficiency of AP operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the establishment of a Finance Accounts Payable Shared Services Department in Singapore.

• Proactively manage and monitor the Group’s Accounts Payable (AP) function to drive accuracy and timeliness of all transactions.

• Key point of contact for the Group’s Procure-to-Payment process.

• Perform monthly Suppliers Statement of Accounts reconciliation and accruals.

• Support and collaborate with internal stakeholders in all areas of AP processes, with the objective of improving operational efficiency.

• Maintain and establish AP policies and procedures for easy guidance and implementation.

• Continuously structure, standardise and optimise financial processes and system to ensure optimum efficiency.

• Lead and motivate a new team to provide high quality services and stipulated turnaround time.

• Assist in the implementation of new ERP system with primary focus on the Accounts Payable modules.

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess the Following:

Qualification and Experience

• Qualified ACCA / CA with at least 8 years’ experience in Finance and 3 years’ experience in a leadership role

Knowledge and Skills

• Strong knowledge of AP processes with experience in setting up AP shared services.

• Knowledge of Esker and Vendor Invoice Management.

• Strong collaboration mindset as this role requires working with many stakeholders in areas of improvement, compliance with SOPs, suppliers and rectifying payment issues.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to independently prioritize multiple tasks and bring projects to completion.

• Must be able to lead, motivate and develop the team members and be ready to cover any open positions.

Job Description

1. Responsible to drive the development of long-term organizational strategy.
2. Responsible to coordinate Corporate Strategic Discussions on key initiatives/topics.
3. Responsible for monthly / periodic / ad hoc reports, business plan, budgeting and etc in Japanese content to Japan HQ.
4. Responsible to monitor, review, evaluate departmental KPIs.
5. Partner with key stakeholders to define strategic plans, actions and capability gap assessments.
6. Lead and/or participate in various projects across the Group and support to achieve business objectives/results. This may also include guiding a team of management associates that will assist in these projects.
7. Together with the management team, develop the materials for and suggest ways to enhance existing business processes/reports for various Board level meetings.
8. Ensuring timely reporting of performance against targets and determine root cause for non-performing and performing indicators for follow up actions.
9. Coordinate timelines and reporting requirements for the various reporting needs including board meetings.
