The Role

In this Graduate Engineer role based in our Singapore office, you’ll join a team who specialise in the design of some of the most exciting construction projects in Asia and worldwide.

Working closely with colleagues across our multi-disciplinary practice, you’ll provide specialist consultancy input on projects across a wide range of sectors including education, healthcare, workplace, retail and critical systems (data centres).

Under the guidance of our team of experienced engineers, we’ll equip you to undertake detailed building services engineering design and analysis, defining and translating clients’ needs into designs for buildings, facilities and services - all with sustainability at the forefront of the design.

The Skills

Accredited with, or on course to achieve an MEng degree level (or equivalent) in either Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services Engineering, you’re passionate about innovative and sustainable Electrical/Mechanical design engineering for the built environment. Ideally, you’ll have furthered this interest by undertaking some form of relevant work experience or placement/internship.

You have an appreciation for the core elements of building services engineering and crucially, have a love for creative and intuitive design. Digital engineering is a big focus at Cundall, so ideally, you’ll have an understanding of Parametric Modelling Techniques (Grasshopper or Dynamo), or at least one modern programming language (e.g. Python, C#, VB). An understanding of Engineering Optimisation Techniques, the principles of structured programming and basic knowledge in the application of Machine Learning would also be desirable.

You are organised and methodical in your approach to managing your tasks and priorities, you strive to meet deadlines and have a close appreciation of the commercial factors which affect design solutions.

Job purpose

To manage Project Planning, Organization and Management of the assigned design team to meet the project expectation. To perform and manage the complete design process from feasibility study and report, building code and standard compliances, concept design, design development, technical design, tender documents and procedure, construction documentation and design management during construction.

We’re looking for a hands-on and highly motivated Senior Editor to build and lead our global editorial team. You have a passion for technology (ideally fintech) and a proven track record of creating and editing high-quality content across multiple formats. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the editorial process, recruiting and managing a team of writers, and ensuring that all content meets our rigorous standards for quality and accuracy. You obsess about editorial integrity, ensuring comprehensive editorial reviews, and delivering engaging content that aligns with strategic priorities. You’ll be responsible for driving the creation of copy and content for all platforms–expect to cover a variety of areas, including thought leadership pieces, white papers, user stories, digital and OOH advertising, product videos, SEO-optimised blog posts, case studies, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of in-house writers and freelancers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure the delivery of engaging content across multiple channels, including websites, social media, blogs, email campaigns, and more.
• Ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and branding across all content assets, adhering to company guidelines and best practices.
• Be involved across the entire editorial lifecycle, from developmental editing, fact checking, and proofreading, all the way to approvals.
• Oversee the editorial calendar, ensuring that all content is produced on time, and aligns to commercial outcomes.
• Work with SEO partners to optimise content while maintaining editorial soundness. Translate complex product knowledge into user-friendly guides and blog posts.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market insights, and competitor activities to inform content strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
• Partner with Product Managers and Product Marketing Managers to gain a thorough understanding of our products, and effectively articulate the differentiated value of our solutions.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in Content Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. Ideally, 5+ years of team management experience.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, obsessive attention to detail, and a keen eye for design excellence.
• A genuine love of writing and the ability to abstract away complex concepts into relatable and engaging materials.
• A user-first approach that allows you to tailor content and communications to specific audience segments and profiles.
• Experience managing internal and external writers, designers, and other creative specialists.
• Familiarity with modern technology and platforms, including popular content management systems and HTML.
• Knowledge of SEO principles, social media trends, and digital marketing best practices, and a willingness to partner closely with Growth Marketing counterparts to drive results.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Positive work attitude, willing to put in extra effort during peak period
• Able to work under tight schedule and under minimal supervision
• Strong communications skills

What you will need
