Front Office Operations

• Perform room check-ins and check-outs for guests
• Handle room reservation requests for call-in or walk-in guests
• Coordinate with housekeeping function to track and maintain accurate room status information
• Promote accommodation packages, loyalty programmes and food and services offerings to guests
• Perform cashier-related functions and guest account billing
• Handle incoming calls to address guests' requests or route calls to the relevant channels for follow-up
• Adhere to personal grooming and hygiene standards to project a professional image
• Attend to guests' enquiries and requests to address their needs
• Handle guests' concerns and feedback to ensure guest satisfaction
• Gather guest satisfaction levels and feedback on front office services for continuous improvement
• Provide feedback and ideas to improve front office operations and enhance guest experience

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To study and familiarise with the whole development’s organisation, Site conditions, Conditions of Contract, Conditions of Sub-contract, M&E Specification/Drawings, Architectural, Interior, Structural and Specialist drawings, Coordination of M&E, Architectural, Interior, Structural and Specialist elements
• To carry out site supervision and inspection cords of all works done, including records of test inspections, status of work of the works including any off-site manufacturing as instructed by the consultant team so as to ensure that the installation works are constructed in compliance with the design intent, specification, working/approved drawings and quality of works required under the terms of the contract.
• To ensure timely submissions and check all drawings (including authority submission drawings and shop drawings)
• To monitor project progress of the works on site and at any off-site manufacturing facilities and report delays immediately.
• To provide standing supervision as and when directed by the consultant team.
• To maintain proper site records and updated daily res, safety, site diary, materials and equipment onsite, labour, dayworks, provisional quantities, etc.
• To check that the contractor executes preliminaries items.
• To check services routes and contractor’s setting out and report any deviations to the consultant team.
• To verify reports and monitor the progress of work on site, verify the contractors’ progress report and present the report to the DM (Development Manager) in such format that the progress payment claim by the contractor can be easily evaluated.
• To monitor all variations works as instructed or approved by consultant team.
• To attend site progress meetings/technical meetings/consultants’ meetings.
• To attend to contractor’s queries and co-ordinate works of main contractor and direct contractors.
• To inspect completed works and ensure works are carried out in accordance to statutory requirements
• To undertake any other duties related to the project including supervision of M&E works as and when instructed by the consultant team.
• To compile relevant equipment, material, inspection and test certificates submitted by the contractors and pass them to the DM as required for the project records and the clients’ hand-over package.
• To compile Punch List or Defect List with the contractors and ensure that the contractors carry out rectification work diligently to clear all defects during the Maintenance Period.
• To witness all the inspection, testing and commissioning sessions performed by the subcontractors to ensure compliance with designs and specifications.

JOB COMPETENCY (QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE)

• Possess at least a recognised Diploma/Nitec in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering/ Building
• Preferably Registered resident technical officer with IES / ACES
• Minimum 5 years of experience as RTO on local project, preferably with experience in Commercial projects
• A good team player and experience in assisting the consultant team / Resident Engineer in supervision

Job Description

• Recognized Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering acceptable for registration with the PE Board, Singapore.
• Accredited with IES/ACES with a valid Resident Technical Officer Practicing Certificate.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in construction, preferably in steel and precast building construction.
• Must be familiar with local Regulations/Codes for Civil and Structural related to building projects.
• A good team player and experience in assisting Resident Engineer in supervision.
• Ability to resolve site and technical issues, prepare and document detailed site progress reports.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD are preferred.
