Our lab is interested in developing new screening assays for drug discovery and early-stage antimicrobial drug development. Lab has extensive experience working with various pathogens (bacteria, virus and parasites).

The job responsibilities include:

• Bacterial and viral assay development and assay optimization
• Compound screening
• Target deconvolution (understanding mechanisms of action and resistance of selected compounds)
• Design and conduct experiments including data collection and analysis
• Summarize and present the data in lab meetings
• Develop new research techniques and approaches
