Requirements

• Min Diploma

• Possess excellent interpersonal, communication skills (written & vebal), customer centric mindset and problem solving ability

• Computer savy (MS Office, CRM system)

• Prior experience of at least 1-2 years in leading a team of customer service and general administration team in same or similar trade

• Possess strong leadership skills

• Report on the status of accounts payable and receivable
• Invoice preparation and follow-up, financial statement reconciliation
• Update internal accounting accounting databases and spreadsheets
• Responsible for management and budgeting of cash flows
• Review effectiveness of internal controls with respect of payment cycle
• Updating of cashbook and timely posting to the General Ledger
• Assist in the montjly closing of accounts including preparation of accounting journals and quaterly GST filing
• Handle general office administration matters
• Assist in other ad-hoc projects as required

Responsibilities:

• Possess an existing client base and develop and implement marketing activities to bring in new customers and service existing customer relationships
• Keep abreast of global oil/energy market movements and conduct research and analysis of markets, monitor demands and supply of the bunker supply to identify business opportunities
• Have a sound understanding of the International Bunker business (Ports / Suppliers / Owners / Charterers / Regulations)
• Knowledge of the oil market and marine fuel pricing strategies, and knowledge of the maritime shipping industry
• Develop effective marketing materials to promote service and value proposition to new and existing customers
• Manage customer portfolio with direct responsibility for negotiating and executing sales transactions -- from quoting, negotiating, confirming, delivery, and post- delivery service and support
• Monitor customer utilization of company credit lines, payment performance, and assist with collections if necessary
• Manage any disputes or claims resolution in the event of any disagreements/claims Assist with development of junior staff and trainees
• Closely follow the companies group policies and procedures

Requirements

• Business or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification with a minimum 2 years and above in similar capacity of Sales/Marketing
• Candidates with a background in oil and gas industry will be an added advantage
• Good written and oral communication and strong persuasion skills; demonstrate ability to express ideas clearly
• Strong Analytical Skills and excellent interpersonal relationship skills
• Strong organization skills and have excellent follow up skills and proficient in MS Office
