Job Description – Service Engineer (Maintenance Lead)

We are looking for a Service Engineer as Maintenance Lead to lead and supervise the maintenance team in maintaining and managing system hardware and networks at customer site located over Singapore island to meet the contractual Service Level Agreement (SLA). The Service Engineer shall report to and under the supervisory of the Maintenance Manager (Reporting Officer (RO)). Hiring shall be 1 year services contract via agent arrangement with option to extend or convert to direct outsource or permanent hiring.

Responsibilities

· Assist the RO in Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) tasks and devise maintenance schedule and resources planning and deployment.

Your Roles

• Manages all aspects of the construction execution; from site preparations to build-out

Job Description

• Design the electrical system for process plant (water/wastewater treatment plant, incineration plant, etc.) and coordination with other disciplines for the design work
• Review project specifications, technical proposal/design documentations from the electrical subcontractor/supplier and liaise with project consultant / client for the approval of technical documentations/drawings.
• Support electrical system related procurement work, develop cost estimates for electrical products and electrical works, and prepare the schedule for electrical works.
• Project coordination, ensure project is on schedule and is running smoothly, including handling technical matters at site, managing electrical subcontractor/supplier and working on site with clients and other stakeholders.
• Supervise installation and testing and commissioning of electrical system.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in process plant electrical EPC work with Degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering Discipline. For Diploma holder, minimum 6 years of experience is required. For senior position, candidate must have at least 8 years of experience.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems including motion, temperature measurement, PID Loop, Safety Interlock circuits, etc.
• Working knowledge of AC/DC Power Distribution Systems including selection of circuit breakers, power supplies, contractors, cable sizing, etc.
• Familiar with electrical design code of practice and standards in Singapore.
• Experience with Revit/AutoCAD Plant 3D/Bentley is preferred.
