Roles and Responsibilities:
Finance & Admin duties
• To be responsible for full spectrum of accounts payable and GL.
• To prepare and process monthly payments and monthly costs allocation.
• To update monthly Management Reports vs Budget and Audit Schedules
• To handle recordings of fixed assets and stock.
• To facilitate annual accounting audit, internal audit and compliance works
• To assist in grant and award applications and adhere to claims processes and monitor timeline.
• To assist in yearly insurance renewal and costs comparison.
· To prepare update of bank signatories, as and when required
• To ensure proper, systematic and timely filing of records and documents for audit, banking and governance.
Human Resources & Payroll Related Duties
• To handle payroll journal entries to ensure proper costs allocation
Miscellaneous duties
· To assist to review and update financial policies and procedures, implement internal controls and routines to ensure compliance.
· To assist in minutes writing for all-staff meeting up to twice yearly.
· To assist in ad hoc projects of the department or organisation to enhance operations.
• To cover the duties of the department staff during their absence, if required.
• Any other duties as required by the supervisor or the ED
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Accounting
- Knowledge of Quickbooks Accounting System
- At least 3 years of relevant working experiences in handing full sets account
- Able to work independently and a good team player
- Is organised and able to multi-task
- Has an interest to learn sign language and gain knowledge in Deaf Culture
