Job description

• Assign with and manage/service a diversified portfolio of clients providing statutory auditing services and to co-lead/lead the engagements.
• Involved in budgeting process to prepare forecasts billings and collections on a regular basis.
• Perform significant risks assessment and audit procedures according to an audit plan.
• Assess audit evidence to derive at conclusions in response to audit objectives.
• Analyse matters arising from audit with Audit Leader/Partner.
• Ensure proper audit documentation and file quality.
• Responsible for audit engagements’ quality, delivery, and budget.
• Provide professional development trainings and manage the team performance.
• Maintain client relationship and development a long-term partnership.

Job requirement

• Have at least a Degree in Accountancy/Accounting/Finance or equivalent
• Have at least 4 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards, Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, relevant statutory rules and good understanding in the regulatory compliance and procedures.
• Have a positive attitude, great communication skills, an analytical mind, problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, ability to work independently as well as an effectively team player.

Financial Planning & Analysis

· Prepare actual and budget/forecast financial reporting and presentation.

· Preparation of monthly and budget/forecast hyperion reporting for submission to Region Finance.

· Perform variance analysis and document commentaries on financial results for the respective business and operation units.

· Partner with business teams to support business decisions & strategy.

· Ensure each business and operation units costs are being forecasted and accounted properly for before month end close.

· Assist to manage outsource service provider related to month end reporting package.

Intercompany transactions Management

• Possess overview of inter-companies recharges for the entity and ensure communications with accounting team members for recharging.
• Ensure agreements are in place and maintain inter-co agreement listings up to-date.
• Ensure recharges are accurately budgeted and forecasted in respective functions.
• Analysis of variances of actuals against budgets/forecasts.

Treasury Matters

• Support in preparing weekly and monthly cash flow forecast and daily cash flow report.
• Manage hedging operations, evaluation, and monitoring of daily rates.
• Support in other Treasury matters

Others

• Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures, Policies, internal control procedures and accounting policies.
• Review existing processes and drive for continuous improvements.

Perform other duties, ad hoc assignments and projects as assigned.

Regional Finance:

• Strategic Cost Management (SCM) Reporting and Tracking
◦ Execute good control governance over SCM reporting process for both FTE & Cost Savings
◦ Exercise good change control over updates to the list of Planned saves in the Repository & Initiative Trackers, ensuring data is accurate and complete
◦ Ensure accurate and effective SCM governance and reporting - Target vs Planned vs Actuals, in Country Cadences
◦ Interface with stakeholders, Location, Regional Teams and Group Finance

• Platform Initiatives Financials Tracking
◦ Execute good control governance over Platform financials and tracking of related realised SCM saves
◦ Follow through resolution of variances and issues noted
◦ Support Regional Digital Transformation & Data (DTD) team with preparation of Business Cases, including addressing Group Finance queries

• Direct Billing & Cost Allocations

• Budget & Forecast exercises (July - Nov)

The Talent

• Degree holder preferably Accounting trained with 4-8 years of professional experience in program management, governance and change management
work experience
• Detail oriented and able to draw insights from data and good at collation of large data sets via Excel
• Ability to navigate in a complex environment, work in ambiguity and achieve outcome
• Pro-active to identify and follow-up on issues to resolution
in budget preparation, leveraging data to provide insights & forecasting
