Main Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and submit invoices through various client payment portals.
• Actively monitor and chase overdue payments by following up with clients via phone calls, emails, and other communication channels.
• Ensure payments received are reconciled with outstanding invoices, updating internal systems accordingly.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to facilitate smooth payment processes and resolve any payment-related issues.
• Work closely with the sales and account management teams to ensure credit limits and payment terms are adhered to.
• Proactively suggest improvements to invoicing and payment collection processes to enhance efficiency and reduce late payments.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1+ years of relevant experience in receivables management, preferably in an SME environment.
• Proven ability to follow up on payments diligently and manage client relationships.
• Experience with online payment portals and invoicing systems is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to converse with Mandarin speaking associates

The Role

Reporting to the APAC Head of Finance as a key senior finance leader, they will oversee the fund finance function and collaborate closely with the Real Estate acquisition, asset management, and other functional teams on fund operations and management, financial reporting, and quarterly valuations. Drive finance transformation efforts and implement technology-based improvements.

Your Profile

To succeed in this role, you should have the relevant academic qualifications with at least 15 years’ experience in a similar fund finance capacity with established and reputable real estate or investment management firms. You should thrive in a fast paced, dynamic work environment and relish the opportunity to work with international teams across the globe to brainstorm ideas, trouble shoot issues and/or engage in transformation projects to achieve greater outcome for the organization. Strong communication and presentation skills are highly sought after for this role.
