Main Responsibilities

• Lead Local Market Management/Coordination (Global and Regional Requests)
• Drive relationships at the appropriate levels of our client organizations
• Apt knowledge & understanding of digital & offline channels combined with the ability to understand digital infrastructure including tracking, web analytics, trafficking and Social
• Have prior platform experience in managing both online and offline media campaigns, including but not limited account setup, strategy development, organization, and management
• Proficient in Performance Marketing strategies on both push and pull platforms
• Creates strategies and makes in-depth recommendations based on strong grasp of analytics, marketing & research concepts
• Manages the daily work flow of all client campaigns, and working with various internal and external stakeholders, including creative agencies and media owners to deliver campaign objectives
• Able to organise & delegate, sensitive to needs & problems of reporting staff – works across buying & planning issues
• Be aware of opportunities to drive revenue streams from existing relationships and leveraging cases from existing relationships to create new relationships
• Assist in mentoring, and developing team members – execs/ junior planners
• Support Quarterly Business Review Development

•       The incumbent will be one of the team members to support the preparation and submission of MAS regulatory reports.
•       Adapt and cater for constant developments within the regulatory framework and to advise and guide business units towards the proper and timely compilation of the required data.
•       Collaborate with Compliance, IT and various stakeholders on regulatory reporting matters and implement regulatory changes including comments on consultation papers.
•       Assist with MAS information requests and queries on MAS returns.
•       Liaise with external/internal auditors and tax agent.
•       Regular review of all processes to ensure operational risk and high risk audit points are mitigated.
•       Ensure all policy documents are regularly updated to reflect current market conditions.
•       Develop high performance culture as part of broader aspiration to build the finance regulatory reporting function.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategy and Planning
•       Provide support to Team Lead.
•       Review and implement financial accounting and control function in accordance with GAAP/Accounting Standard.
•       Ensure compliance to policies, procedures and guidelines set by Group and MAS/regulators.
•       Participate in regulatory related projects.
Statutory and Compliance Reporting
•       Liaise with internal and external auditors in the periodical audit of financial reports.
•       Oversee year-end audit and supervise the preparation of statutory accounts.
•       Prepare and review reports for submission to MAS and other regulators.
•       Assist/advise other SBUs/SFUs in providing the required statutory and compliance reports.
Others
•       Attend to any adhoc report requested from the management or regulator etc.
•       Involvement in new initiatives/facilitates implementation of new guidelines related to financial accounting and reporting matters.

Salary range: SGD 114k - 164k per annum + RSUs

A bit about the role:

We are seeking a capable and enthusiastic Financial Risk Manager to join our team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and second line risk management advice and oversight to the entities and countries in Asia.

Primary Objective:

Manage Financial Team and ensure accurate and timely operational delivery across all products within agreed SLAs, KRIs and/or KPIs and escalation of operational, regulatory and other risks to the Section Head, Channel Operations

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the Financial Team and ensure operational delivery across all products within agreed SLAs, KRIs and/or KPIs;
• Responsible for the timely escalation of operational, regulatory and other risks to the Section Head of Channel Operations;
• ​Responsible for the development and implementation of mitigation or control solutions within own area of responsibilities;
• Partner with Business Units and Technology Teams to implement new processes and systems, including participating in requirements gathering, reviewing business documents and support system testing..
• Ensure compliance to the Group’s policies, regulations and requirements.
• Ensure Operational Manual is reviewed and updated on a timely basis.

Business Partnering

• Business partnering and decision-making support for driving performance to achieve strategic and financial objectives
• Process Lead for strategic and annual planning, forecasting & performance management
• Drive for strong collaboration within Asia Region finance team – coach and train Asia Finance community for FPA deliverables
• Take leadership to optimize cross functional processes and collaboration to maximize impact on business, customers and teams

Business Partner for the Alliance Cluster

• Act as key business partner to Strategic Alliance group which manages all export markets, support product launch analysis, work with commercial lead on pricing strategy to ensure sustainable profitability

Management Reporting

• Ownership of reporting suites for Santen Asia. Managing and consolidating reports in monthly /quarterly /yearly cycles. Responsible for commentary to assist commercial teams to get insight of the reporting cycles
• Implement and drive monthly financial review process at country level and champion its standardization
• Perform monthly forecast, annual budgeting, analyze data, variance analysis, consolidate commentaries for actuals and forecasts, support monthly reviews and provide valuable input for decision making
• Work across departments and countries to prepare budgets and consolidate them into one overall corporate budget
• Propose and drive cost saving initiatives to business/functions at business unit level

Project Management

• Support Head of Finance, Asia and partner with business and functional teams in projects and strategic initiatives such as new business models, system implementation
• Lead and drive ad-hoc projects, as and when assigned

Finance System Control

• Develop front-end planning and reporting platform which is sanctioned by Global Finance
• Harmonize expense line items, ensure standardization of expense reporting code between ERP, Reporting Module alignment across Asia Region + Countries + Global Finance team
• Maintain and own process of Santen Asia reporting system. Act as the key user and point of contact between corporate HQ and regions to coordinate and implement upgrades and escalations point for systems issues
• Assist in the implementation of Global FP&A projects, contribute to setting of new Global, Region and Country KPI(s)
• Identify and implement KPI(s), performance management tools to measure and track business performance in the Region
