Assistant Cook Job Description:

An Assistant Cook, or Assistant Chef ensures the kitchen is orderly and assists Cooks to prepare and arrange food. Their duties include cleaning the kitchen area, washing dishes and utensils and ensuring that the Cook has everything required to run the kitchen efficiently.

Assistant Cook duties and responsibilities:

• Assisting the Cook in food preparation activities, such as cleaning, cutting, chopping and peeling food ingredients

Admin Assistant

You will provide administrative and secretarial support to the Partners and a small team while helping to manage office functions and compliance operations.

Responsibilities

● Support corporate secretarial duties by conducting compliance checks and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards in collaboration with the relevant teams, managing and updating investor and client databases, filing and any other record.

● Facilitate bank account opening processes and documentations

● Ensure adherence to internal and external compliance requirements by maintaining accurate records and following company policies.

● Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials for compliance reviews or audits.

● Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and action items.

● Organise internal and external events, including investor events, handling logistics, vendor coordination, and ensuring compliance with company policies

● Assist with clients’ travel logistics, including booking flights, hotels, and ground transportation.

● Oversee office operations, including vendor management, facilities upkeep, and supply inventory, ensuring smooth day-to-day functions

Requirements

● Proven experience of minimally 2 years in financial services in a similar role is necessary.

● You must be professionally fluent in Mandarin and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages, to communicate with stakeholders across the APAC region

● Experience liaising with Corporate Secretaries or working on compliance support is highly advantageous

● Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

● Strong attention to detail and proactive.

● You should be someone who takes strong ownership of tasks, is positive and can adapt quickly in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

● Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese
