Apex Group has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and collaborative Fund Accounting Assistant Manager to join our inclusive and welcoming team. A full-time Assistant Manager – Private Equity role based in Singapore must be filled with the opportunity to be part of a positive and diverse workplace culture.
As an Assistant Manager – Private Equity, you will work closely with the full team to ensure high-quality client service is delivered. You will also supervise administrators for journals and accounts preparation, payment preparation and relevant reporting.
Here are some of the things you could expect to do:
- Work closely with the full team to ensure the provision of high-quality client service
- Review accounts for partnership and special purpose vehicles
- Undertake first reviewer responsibilities for accounts linked to simple, less complex structures
- Ensure that client responsibilities are managed effectively and to agreed client, best practice, regulatory and statutory deadlines
- Establish and maintain detailed client-specific knowledge to assist in providing more holistic solutions.
To apply for this Assistant Manager – Private Equity position, you must be a graduate in accounting or finance and a qualified or part-qualified accountant or a non-graduate with a professional accounting qualification. You will also require the following:
- At least 4 years of experience gained within fund administration, alternative asset management, and/or public accounting
- Understanding of regulatory and financial reporting regimes for alternative funds in the Cayman Islands
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
