What You Will Do

• Assist in performing 3-way matching on the purchase invoices for the Group’s F&B outlets
• Updating the purchasing transaction in the accounting system
• Preparation of monthly payments
• Assist in accounting administration in reviewing expenditure claims from associate
• Ensure accuracy and completeness in Revenue posting to Accounting System
• Assist in verifying sales collection and AR billing for F&B Business
• Other ad hoc from the finance department from time-to-time

What You Will Need

• Currently studying Accounting or Finance or any relevant major
• Candidates who graduated from junior college or polytechnics are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Handles all correspondence and organises contacts between the catering sales team and their customers
• Ensures telephone calls are manned and attended to promptly
• Responds promptly to emails and phone requests for information or quotes
• Data entry tasks for the sales team – maintaining and updating customer records
• Maintains updates on corporate and wedding package
• Prepares proposals and agreements for customers
• Assists with production reports or any relevant reports for Director of Catering Sales and Director of Sales & Marketing
• Assists with coordinating with Room Controller with showroom keys and familiarisation trips, site inspections at the hotel level when required
• Coordinating with the Banquet Service team as well as the Banquet Kitchen team on event actualization such as confirmation of floor plans, menu finalization etc.
• Conducts telesales activities at the direction of the Director of Catering Sales and Director of Sales & Marketing

The Raffles Service Intern delivers friendly and professional service that meets guest’s call experience expectations and is able to answer all types of enquiries.

The position offers a centralised communication service in an efficient manner supporting all departments of the Hotel.

Primary Responsibilities

Deliver Friendly and Professional Service

• Ensures smooth operation of the department by attending to incoming calls and emails that are pertaining to room and F&B reservations or general enquiries.
• Obtains all the necessary information to complete a room reservation in the Opera system, i.e. stay dates, flight details, rates, special requests and reservation notes.
• Assists guests in a seamless F&B reservation process by providing restaurant and bar information, reservation confirmation and/or reservation changes or cancellations and other special requests.
• Works closely with the restaurant managers to maximise the capacity of the restaurants.
• Ensures guests receive the experience as detailed in Brand Standard Operating Procedures (BSOPs), Raffles Hotel Singapore Local Standard Operating Procedures (LSOPs) as well as Forbes 5 star/Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards, and aims to achieve the scores and goals set by management.
• Close cooperation with Raffles Butlers team.
• Upholds a flawless impression and perception of the Raffles Hotel Singapore products and services.
• Ensures the smooth running of the Raffles Service by performing all tasks in adherence with the code of ethics as issued by Raffles Hotel Singapore.

Primary Responsibilities

Executes Butler core tasks

• Takes responsibility and ownership in creating personal connections through emotional luxury between Butlers and residents.
• Engages and customises check-in procedures, suite set-up, suite orientation, offers welcome drink, itinerary and dining recommendations and bookings, through observation and interactions anticipate and be intuitive of residents’ needs and wants.
• Orchestrates the celebrations of residents’ special occasions, assists with in-suite experiences resolves resident feedback, serves daily amenities and offers assistance for departure arrangements and provides fond farewell.
• Tasks include unpacking, packing, laundry, shoe-shine and in-room dining service, promptly answers any resident calls and emails and communicates with respective departments.

Deals with internal stakeholders

• Executes the annual upsell strategy and achieves all goals as set by management and cooperates with the Front Office team in promoting inter-hotel sales and in-house restaurants and facilities.

• Adheres to Work Safety and Health (WSH) policies and procedures and ensures all direct reports and peers are trained in and follow WSH guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests professionally and demonstrate a warm, confident and genuine first impression.
• Show guests to room and assist them with their luggage while giving guest information about the hotel, its features as well as general information about the local area per Leading Quality Assurance standards.
• Responsible for carrying the guest's luggage to and from the guest rooms, and ensure that the guest is properly settled in a room with nothing left behind.
• Maintain the designated stations in the lobby as per company standards and check every 30 minutes or when necessary.
• Open doors for guests per hotel’s etiquette.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the bell stand, lobby and baggage room.
• Deliver messages and valet to guest rooms.
• Promote and inform guests of hotel facilities.
• Ensure impeccable grooming standards.
• Ensure all related Leading Quality Assurance guidelines are met, if not exceed at all times.
• Assist Front Office in any tasks when needed.
• Exceed guests’ expectations in any task provided.

Requirements
