Responsibilities:

1. Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM):

• Develop and implement PPM schedules for Electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturers’ guidelines, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Inspect and service Electrical Switchboard, circuit breaker, Protection relay etc
• Monitor and maintain Electrical control systems.
• Manage the calibration of power meters, current transformers, etc
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment logs, and service report

2. Emergency Response/Corrective Maintenance:

• Develop and maintain contingency plans for system breakdowns or emergencies.
• Provide 24/7 technical support during critical issues, such as Electrical System down.
• Diagnose and resolve faults or malfunctions in Electrical systems.
• Perform repairs on cables, contactors, fuses, motors, and electrical controls.
• Work closely with contractors or vendors when complex repairs are needed.
• Prepare detailed Incident reports for maintenance issues.

3. Spare Parts & Inventory Management:

• Manage inventory of spare parts, consumables, and tools.
• Coordinate with procurement for replenishing parts based on maintenance needs.
• Track equipment warranties and service contracts.

4. Coordination

• Engage with building managers and tenants to address electrical requirements.
• Participate in site audits and inspections, ensuring quality and timeliness of maintenance work.
• Supervise on-site technicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and maintenance standards.

5. Compliance & Safety:

• Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to workplace safety and environmental standards.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements
• Organize safety drills and routine inspections for emergency equipment like smoke extraction fans and pressurization systems.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory documentation, such as safety certifications and inspection records.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or equivalent.
• At least 1 year experience in Electrical system maintenance
• Knowledge of energy management and electrical services
• Certification in workplace safety will be preferred
• Proficient in troubleshooting tools and preventive maintenance software.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals.
• Good communication and coordination skills for client and vendor management.

Job description

1. Perform the maintenance service in a proper and correct manner as stated on the checklist

2. Attend emergency breakdown service as instructed by the team leader

3. Carry out testing & commissioning for A&A work and run the small size of project

4. Provide technical support to the Application Team

5. Co-ordinate with the Project and Application departments and provide necessary support when required by the Team Leader

6. Support the systems testing related activities with the Project and Application Teams

7. Liaise with sub-contractor to perform site survey for A&A work and to provide detailed information on equipment quantity and method for the installation to the relevant parties for preparation of quotation

8. Deliver good standard of workmanship and ensure accurate quantity and quality of the equipment to be installed at site

9. Conduct in-house training when is required

10. Perform standby duty and other ad hoc duties as assigned

Key Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• 2 years’ experience in security systems
• Strong knowledge in network and security systems, able to troubleshoot and rectify the network and systems related issues.

Remuneration:

• $2,500.00 - $3,600.00 per month
